This didn't really deserve its own thread IMO, but appreciated. Next time, post in the news and discussion thread just to be safe.

Regarding the scans: these seem like new angles of stuff we've seen, at least most. Some are old. There's nothing really new about these. Thanks!

Well, in my opinion it did, so well done OP, thanks for giving this it's own thread so most NORMAL people have a chance of seeing it ;)

About the headlights, in GT4 my CLK GTR had them on when I did my 24 hour race, despite it being daylight for the entire duration. Headlights on is nothing new, and does not indicate a confirmation of night racing either.

Hmm...you're right. Interesting and suspicious. It seems that some of the rally cars have also their headlights on, while roadcars don't. User controlled headlights anyone? (YAY!!! :D Another button to use in my G27 ).

would be nice if the "horn button" on my DFGT worked the horn in game.
honking at slow poeple online to get out of my way, lol

Flashing your lights when you want to overtake and then blowing the horn when they don't react quick enough, maybe with the new improved driver modelling you're even able to flip the bird or the navigator mooning the opponents after overtaking.....hopefully not, it is a driving sim not a road rage sim. ;)

All cars had its headlights on when driving on la Sarthe with the chicanes.
They were off in the "old" version.

Thats odd, because I was running on Sarthe II, without the chicanes

I found this

Where?

Sure, or did you watch a replay? Because iirc you can switch the lights on and off with one of the buttons when watching a replay. Here you can see that the lights are off on the old Le Mans and on on the new (pics from me):

The car looks a bit odd (the headlight textures for example), but the track looks like from the TT demo, i guess its just compressed to death.

Lights are not textured in Gt5, they're modelled! Even in Prologue you can see that

There are still textures on them.... and these textures appear low-res in that pic.

No, but i could imagine it will come as 5$ DLC soon.

The ford pic is GT5. I got an email about the TT a few weeks ago. it had that pic and another with more cars racing at indy.

Same as these. The lights look low res because is probably a mag scan :D

Doesnt look like a scan, just badly compressed.

oh, japan...

Also, that Citroen doesn't seem to be passing every single car on the field, which means they've probably taken out the overpowered electric/hydrogen system from Prologue and fitted...what, exactly?

That is funny since the letter L or the sound L isn't part of the Japanese language.

The real life car has a Yank V8 :)

Watching the pics now i can say the blue car at Nurburgring in the last trailer is the Lotus Esprit V8. I`m sure.

Glad you figured it out :sly:👍

Watch out!!!!! The thread police are about!!!!!!!!

If someone's gone out of their way to a) go to a game show to seek new GT information and b) bother to put it online for chumps like you to see, the least you could do is withhold your invaluable opinion and just appreciate what they've done.

You may well have all the time in the world (unemployed/student probably) to scroll through the mind-numbing general news thread, but anyone who has a life would rather see it pop up in a new thread, if it's interesting it stays near the top, if it's not, it drops off the recent thread list.. surely thats the whole point of a forum?

It's actually much easier for people like me who don't prowl these forums day in and day out to be able to just look through the forum page for stuff like this, rather then sit and skim the "latest news" thread

That first pic doesn't look familiar btw

yeah I can read it, it's chinese and they translated gran turismo to "A romance journey with sports car" LOL

Esplit <<-, it's amazing how the Esprit still in the hearts of many fans, it's an outdated and aged model, it's not even that fast. But PD keep showing it in various screenshots, Kazunori sensei loves that car so much. :D

Sensei, huh? :D

But yeah I laughed at that too. It is hard for Japanese to distinguish the letters L and R from each other.

Nice finds! Great look for my 5,000th post!

The paragraph for the 1st pic says something about 150 Premium cars...we know it means fully modeled damage vehicles but why dont they call it that, keeps making me thing of different versions like GT Lite type thing.
