Way, way too early for an Aventador SV, esp. because the Roadster will be revealed long before a SV model will be.

As for the car, I'm guessing on the Gallardo successor. It's about that time for the Gallardo to finally retire.

If the murcielago is still being made, then the gallardo isn't going to be stopped.

I thought the word was that it's due to be a 'production' version of the Sesto Elemento?

The Murcielago isn't being made. Production stopped when the last SV rolled off the line last year in November....

What do you think the Aventador was built for?

As long as there are demands for Gallardos in cheap Jersey Shore Music Videos, they won't stop making it.

I still doubt the Gallardo will stop being made, too early as it was released later then the Murcielago.
The Gallardo is technically near 9 years old, which is about the age Lamborghini starts to phase out its cars. In fact, that's the same age as the Murcielago.

Even with the LP560-4 refresh, it's still on the edge of 4 years (again, the same "age" as the LP640 before it was ceased) & Lamborghini has exhausted it with all the special editions.

To be quite blunt, the Gallardo replacement is already supposedly in the works under the name Cabrera. And as the rumors go, it will be unveiled in 2012 & put into production in 2013, which actually corresponds well with Lamborghini's production timeline.
