o.k like you told me to read those swifts stuff o.k i did and now i have some questions for you when they say heel toe what does that exually mean?

1. Why do you keep double posting? It's really not needed.
2. There is no reason at all to heel-toe in GT4. In Real Life(IRL) is a different story.
3. Did you try to apply any of the techniques you read about yet?

Hey guys ive had GT4 for quite a while but never really drifted, but then i stumbled across this site and the drifting bug has bitten me! S13's are great to drift, don't you agree?

hey all i'm new to this site not to the car scene or the game series or drifting in general, but this site has been a big help with drift settings, only prob is I can't find the drift settings for my fav car,in the game, the plymouth cuda. I couldn't find plymouth anything on the drift depot page, so I requested some settings about a week ago, (I did it the RIGHT way P.M.ing a member named sharon) if there is anyone else out there that has some good settings for the cudacould you post them on the drift settings page or P.M. me.
I tryied setting the dodge charger 440 up for drifting and I thought I had it setup pretty good but then I got some off of this site and it's a totally different car, so I know the Cuda has potential.

Start small, don't just go for settings right away. HAve you learn to see the drifting lines within the game?

Hey guys, my name is evan.
I drift a 240SX (S14) and my older brother drifts in real life (competes) and so i have decided to try it on GT4, a bit different (especcialy in sound = / )
cheers!
(GT5 better have a better sound engine, i think that 25% of the cars sound either the same or very similar)

D.K.
g' day every 1 just joind up, hope to have fun:)

Welcome to GTPlanet D.K.

Please remember to use correct grammar and punctuation. Also remember that slang and shortened words (g'day) are fine to use very occasionally, however they are frowned upon if used too much. Please familiarise yourself with the AUP. Remember to use the search function, and read all F.A.Qs before asking questions, as it is more than likely that the issue has been brought up before.

Oh and lastly, beware of Famine.

I trust you will enjoy your time here, as the majority of people are very easy to get along with.

Hello, this is my first post I think. I have been playing Gran Tourismo since the beginning, and really got started drifting right before GT4 came out. I normally check out the settings depot when i try to drift. so far my best drift car is the Carolla, but i would like to work on the s13 & s14.
EDIT: oh yeah, I forgot to mention that I use the Logitech Steering Wheel.

That is somewhat true, when GTP drifters have the lowest respect because of our grammar but it is going up...slowly.

Nah, its not just restricted to drifters, lots of new members do that.

By the way, welcome to GTP, 240^drift, you at least have a good grammar! 👍

well, look in past threads. Every flame thread, the owner usually have bad grammar and usually targets one person or a whole group or site... but eh..it could of been worst.

Hello. I have been drifting since I was 17 (not gt, real life) and once I got a hold on GT3 have been hooked on doing it in game (especially when I am out of tires). Ever since I got GT4 its like a whole new learning process because of the revamped physics, but I think I have a hang of it now.

I know some of you are into real cars, so heres mine: S13 240sx with a CA18DET in it, which is mostly stock. All it has done to it is a Yanaka BOV, Sheep Dog exhaust, RC Engineering 370cc Injectors, Warlboro 255 lb/hr fuel pump, and a tuned ECU. Runs strong, drifts great. There is only 1 mountain road down here and I drive it a lot. If anyone lives around here and is interested in drifting, PM me. I am also the co owner of an up and coming shop, Battle Motorsports. We import cars, so when you see an R32 GT-R Skyline rolling around, that will be me ;)

I bought GT4 when it first came out. I LOVE GT4. Now I find drifting. It's real fun because I bought Driving Force Pro yesterday :P. Now I would love to find out some setups for drifting. I've tried 2times drifting in GT4. It's hard, but fun.

well.. uhh.. your spelling isnt the greatest, but i have seen worse. and yes, i dont capitalize, nor put apostrophes in their appropriate places, but i do use decent spelling most of the time, and i do use commas and periods where they need to be.

anyways! welcome to all the new guys!
