Yes, but it's look as GT5 and its New York circuit...

But it's nowhere near the sort of quality we are seeing in the latest GT5 pics...

Look at the front bumper, the textures are all a bit plain and the reflections aren't so good. The poly count on that headlight is far lower than what we've seen in other cars, even in Prologue. There is far too much blur in the background too. At first I thought it was a Forza 3 shot; not bad, but not GT5 standard.

You could see in the screenshots back then that the tracks were a bit better than GT4 quality, that's not GT5, just a lot of high-res/poly assets.

^^

Thank you mate!!! Whoa!

I wonder why some stickers are not that nice in resolution.. Or maybe they will be when you zoom in more on them.. A hint into decal mode?

All very nice and what have you, but personally, viewed at 100% I don't think those hi-res images do the models justice. Sure, lots of the details are nice, but you also see a lot of angles, straight lines, flat textures etc. Clearly the models have been designed to look good when viewed at normal distances and resolution, because sat back on my sofa and viewing these zoomed out to fill the screen, they look sublime.

Yes I agree, this game is designed to look good at 1080p resolution, not 18 megapixels. Al-tho its very nice to have poster resolution images. Some people will make posters for their walls.

Already ordered more ink for my plotter at work!!👍👍

Exactly, the high resolution works only for prints.

Very true, and I'm sure that we will some great artistic images from the photo mode once the game lands 👍

I would agree, if these were in fact in game models which I don't believe they are. They look like uber polished, rendered publicity shots to me.

I would say they are photomode shots, similar to how Forza 3's cars become more detailed in photomode.

Have you ever played GT5P?

For something even better (better captured by No46TheDoctor, who I believe is a GTP member):

Use the 720p HD option:

Have you ever played GT5P?

No doubt Zero i know the truth!! GT5P looks amazing specialy in replay mode 👍

^^ Not only in the replays, the cars look stunning even at the dealers. Just after buying the game, I spent a couple of hours drooling at the Ferrari dealership. GT5P is a small game, born up from a demo, it may be boring to play in the same six tracks to death, but when it comes to car models, there's no game capable of matching it.

The models are the same in replays, menu and in normal gameplay (except for LOD effects when the cars are further away of course).

**** me!!! Certainly pays off to keep away from the GT5 section of this forum for a couple of weeks!

The Ring finally looks completely new, with the better lighting, crouds around Nordschleife and finally the GP circuit!

Are these taken using the photo mode effects or does it look as it would during regular gameplay?

I like the racing liveries; sick of car dealership looking cars!

Of course you won't see the blur etc. while racing, but the overall image quality is the same.

Have you ever played GT5P?

Yes, everyday. Are the crap quality videos supposed to prove something? I hope you're not suggesting those look anywhere near as detailed as the pictures?

Those pictures make me want to hibernate like a bear until GT5 gets here

I just hope your real life TV is as near as big and good as your negative attitude :)
