Jordan...don't know what kind of Horse Power you got runnin' GTP now, but it is extreemly faster compared to previous boxes. Kudos on the move!

I'm glad you can tell a bit of difference in speed. :) Our new server is twice as powerful as our old one, with Dual Intel Xeon 2.4GHZ CPU's, 1 GB of DDR RAM, and a 73 GB SCSI drive.

Yep, i'm browsing GTP from home on 56k and pages load lightning quick! <bows down to Jordan>You've outdone yourself this time!</bows down to Jordan>

Wow, M77, that's a bit excessive ...

Hey Jordan, are you getting any revenue from the site yet? Is it at least attempting to play for itself? And what about the provider - are you still using RackSpace or whoever?

 1 GB RAM?!?!?! Holy Crap that's alot! Good pick, Jordan, and I can't wait for GTP6 to be released (will there be a countdown like last year?)

RackShack.

Jordan, all the images on GTP load VERY slowly for me.

If you're talking about user posted images (like the Desktops thread) then that isn't GTP's fault. It is probably Uploadit.org since that is what most people use to link to images.

True, but he has cable. :grumpy:

Also,

That's really not a whole lot of RAM. My brother has 1GB of RAM in his home computers. Also, most new servers can handle up to and sometimes over 8GB of RAM. ;)

Except you'd be paying heaps for those 1gig or 2gig ram chips.

Ya know, a few thousand each..

It's working now, before I had this 350z Crash download going and nothing would load. Now it's loading.

My connection IS pretty good, CB.

Where are you buying your memory? You're getting ripped off.

Well, considering all the problems the last server had, it isn't. On average, GTP would not even load at home for me and I would get a "page cannot be displayed" error. I also saw many database errors as evident by my thread here in Q&C.

Yes, it is returning a bit of revenue. We are no longer with RackShack (now known as EV1Servers), but are now with MakoSolutions.

MakoSolutions has a very nice site. Congrats on the new move I suppose, don't notice any difference in speed but maybe I will in downtime.

I keep getting some server liscense popup saying that something has expired and if I trust GTP...I say yes..Next time I'll read it and see what it says and post it.
