Those were....

Anticlimactic.

Nah, not too impressed. I mean, it's nice Toyota's trying to push their green edge and all...but it's a huge leadup to nothing. big letdown.

I think that's the point... Maybe Toyota is trying to make fun of the other guys? 💡
Heck, the lines in the commercial even said something to that extent (something about big deal vs big difference  ).

As for my opinion of the commercials...
I don't really care to see any car company making commercials for something other than their cars. :indiff:
I'd rather see them advertise the new XRS or something. 👍

But why advertise the bane of the earth when one can just make public service announcements? Even the Hybrid's not as green as we say it is.

[/sarcasm]

I don't know. These overdone introductions to nothing are kind of cheesy. I don't leave feeling enlightened, I leave feeling "Well, gee, that was 40 seconds of my life I'm never gonna see again."

my interpretation of them this that it doesn't have to be a big deal to do a simple thing to help the environment like turning off your water... i dunno, i thought it was kinda clever. i guess im the only one, haha :guilty:

Well, gee, you must feel that way a lot then.

Sense of humor and imagination are set to "off" I take it?

Its clearly poking fun at the over dramatic nature of many ads and the likes.

I think their neat and amusing.
