It would be really cool if they lit up after 6pm, depending on your time zone settings, but that would probably be a pain to script.

Also, I say keep the current Lancer. It can be a tribute to those in warmer climates, and to those who live in the Southern Hemisphere - it doesn't snow everywhere at Christmas you know.
