Why the f:censored: can't the Texans convert on the 1-yard line? Too many mistakes in the first half, not enough execution in the 2nd half. Now, we're going to Cincinnati next week, who just beat Baltimore. Meaning we'll probably fall to 2-4 if the Texans keep playing fail-tasticly. This is a game I thought we could win, but the Texans didn't PLAY like they could win. I don't know if I should be mad that the Texans lost or happy that the Texans did their absolute best in making a comeback. But if you're going to make a comeback... F:censored:ING WIN THE GAME! FINISH THE COMEBACK! Winning teams do this, why not the Texans? I guess we're a lock to fail in Cincinnati next week...

Breaking news: The Bills are pathetic.

TO! TO!TO!TO!TO!

But really it seems he has destroyed moral on the Bills.
On a bright note M Ryan & R White looked super today, heck even our defense looked good.

My Texans aren't a winning team (neither are the Rams, who also lost (no disrespect)), but they had a chance to win (or at least tie) the game. They just didn't win/tie.

Did anyone see those Denver Broncos outfits? The University of Oregon FINALLY has opposition for ugly football uniforms! Denver still won, but damn... those were terrible.

Rams are making progress but we still suck. Bulger is needed.

Also as i predicted, the Niners got exposed by the Falcons today. Keep in mind they played in San Francisco. Glad the Falcons put the Niners in their place.

Trust me I am all too aware. There is plenty of room for non-winning teams in this league.

Man, that loss stung yesterday. I really, really wish our bye was coming up this week before we have to see Minnesota on the road. I just hope this upcoming week of practice is productive and they can learn from their MANY MANY mistakes this week. What a downer.

Anyone else spot Vince Young casually shaking off a tackle and lazily stiff-arming for a 7-yard 3rd down conversion?

Jeeeeeez. I can't even check out the usual Ravens forums I read sometimes. Yes, we lost the game, but somebody needs to tell these guys to step off the ledge. These 'fans' have already completely written off our season and called for the firing of our entire coaching squad... after a close loss against a good football team.

This is the problem with having high expectations going into the season - when you have a few tough weeks, everyone freaks out. What's the fun of being a fan if you only want to trash our team week in and week out? I could understand if maybe we had a losing record, but we're not there yet, and there's still a lot of football to go.

That's why I don't believe in expectations to begin with. For ANYTHING. Let the season play itself out rather than just have sometimes unrealistic expectations. Look at my Texans. We get creamed by the New York Jets 24-7 on Week 1. People ALREADY wrote off the regular season. Even if we won on Game 1, we could still finish 1-15. So it isn't like Week One determines a whole season. GREAT points, Zrow. I guess the best recommendation is... stop listening to sports radio and/or stop watching highlight shows.

What gets to be annoying is losing and how it's perceived. If a team fought hard to get back in the game to ultimately lose late, it's a marginal disappointment. But what if you were in this same situation and you're a LOSING team? As the Texans Radio Network would say, "we find new ways to suck!" A loss is a loss, but have SOME positivity. For example, your car gets totaled and your house gets burned, what's so positive? You're still living, and you can replace those things.

I shouldn't have mentioned the Rams because my Texans play at the Rams later this season. And at least St. Louis' uniforms were pleasing to see among all other teams that had the throwback uniforms. Lovely blue and gold. Just like my former high school, and just like my official colors on Myspace and YouTube. Simple, yet beautiful. I do feel for the Rams, though.

That's nothing. Browse the finheaven forums and then get back to me.

Now that you're here, Omnis, it's time for me to say this... Jets at Dolphins tonight! Who do you have winning tonight's game?

Dolphins, duh. We have to play lights out and force turnovers though. This is probably the biggest game of the season so far. We have to shut up Rex Ryan, since his team beat a bunch of scrub teams and all of our losses are against the best teams in the league.

Yeah... still the same ole' Kyle Boller, huh?

What scrubs teams did the Jets beat? The Pats aren't scrubs. Good game so far. My boys are acting like they have never seen the Wildcat but that's okay we'll pull it out.

THEY DIDN'T PLAY US BEFORE NOW! WOOOOOOOO!!!!!!!!!

CHAD HENNE IS THE TRUTH! RONNIE BROWN AND RICKY WILLIAMS FTW!

Oh my god man, you guys just don't know. Dolphins, for real. Dolphins. I just had a Fingasm.

That Ricky Williams hurdle earlier was pretty bad ass, I must say.

My Texans are some "scrubs" that the Jets beat. So Miami won? Congratulations to the Dolphins.

Headline: Billions starve after Rex Ryan eats global supply of cheese following defeat.

Chad Chad Chad, CHAAAAAAAAAD HENNE.

Wow! That was almost like Doug Flutie's classic Hail Mary pass. And he passed that ball despite triple coverage? Awesomeness. No better word.

Actually, Pennington hit Ginn in the hands on a nearly identical route. Penny's arm strength improved a whole lot over the off-season. The difference is that Ginn made a catch, finally. But that doesn't mean Chad Henne isn't a total stud.

According to Foolkiller's favorite sportswriter, that's what happens when you call run, run, run, run, run, play-action.

"I guess we're a lock to fail in Cincinnati next week..." -me last week

This week... the Texans won 28-17. This was a great win against a vastly improved Bengals squad. Next for my boys is San Francisco at home. The wild card will be if Michael Crabtree will get his first NFL start.
