Well the Saints got flagged into the Super Bowl.:yuck:
I'd be damned to be a Vikings fan.

There was some pretty crappy calls.:yuck:

Sorry, but you guys fumbled your chances away.

5 turnovers did not help the cause any either. I wanted the Vikings, but,oh well.

New Orleans -vs- Indy

Who do 'ya like ?

Going with Indy, based on their experience. Not taking anything away from the Saints, their good, had a good season, but Indy is tougher.

True.
Then you would have to notice all the pass interference calls to get the Saints into FG position to win. Altogether, the Saints probably gained 25 yards and started at there own 25.

Wow, Omnis you even added FailFX:lol:

He actually had a decent game, Peterson was the one who failed.

...except for the part where he blew the game for them. He had a decent game minus his last play - which singlehandedly ruined their whole game.

buddy on FinHeaven found the Ryan Bros. on the beach and took a pic with them  :

The horror!

Pro Bowl tonight! Who takes the win- the AFC or the NFC? I'm impartial to the AFC, so I got the AFC. Good luck to both teams down in Miami.

NFC is probably going to win. Lots of AFC players didn't show.

Well, AFC won. I should've known better. The pass rush kinda looked like the Dolphins this season.

Super Bowl tonight! I usually ask who you'll take, but I just want to wish both teams the best of luck with the game about to kick off in less than an hour. Either team can win. Both of which, very deserving of the championship.

Isn't there usually a very current thread with people posting about everything as it happens?

If not, I'll be the first. Did anyone see the commercial for FloTV with the "my generation" remix by the Black Eyed Peas, and the video timeline up until the present? Very nice, I think. I actually checked out the site because of it.

And the home team is down 31 to 17 with 3:05 left in the game. Oh well... :( --- Randy

Great, now we get to hear how this is such a good thing for the state of Louisiana.

Congrats to Brees though who deserves a ring.

I never thought I would see the saints win anything, let alone a super bowl. Maybe this means even the browns, or bengals have a chance.

Congrats to Saints...:) Colts it was a great year.. but hey it goes like that sometimes. --- Randy

That was one of the better games I've seen in a good while. Lot of risky moves and whatnot. Too bad the half-time show and most of the commercials kinda sucked.

The only commercial I liked was the Etrade baby one.

Congrats to Brees and co. They really had a dream season. Peyton Manning? Who dat!?

I think the Saints are everyone's 2nd favorite team.

I was really expecting a better performance from The Who.:indiff:

Wasn't it crap?

Colts choked it. 10 up in the first quarter to lose by 14? Also, all those field goals - three 40yd+ kicks!

I found the game as a whole to be quite average - I've never seen so many people just doing their job. Until the last quarter there were no mistakes and no-one did anything special above and beyond. The game pretty much came down to two good Saints plays, two Colts errors (field goal miss, Manning's pass) and one interception - which after 24hr awake and at 3am makes me not look back on the game fondly. Not like last year.

Yes. They can't sing properly anymore, their setup didn't allow fans on the field so there were no screaming fans in any of the shots, and not a single guitar was broken.

You appear to have missed the onside kick to start the second half, a gutsy trick play, which has never been attempted in a Super Bowl before.

Hate to see that happen to Manning. I wonder if it's ever possible for him to recover from that mistake.
