What the hell is this? Buffalo 3-0 and one of those wins is against the Pats? Is this real life, or is this just fantasy?

Gotta love Belechick acting like a baby and blowing one the the Pats' time outs, though.

Wow, I wake up this morning to find out the Bills come back and beat the Pats after trailing 21-0 and the Raiders destroyed the Jets defence with their awesome running game.:boggled:

He audibly yelled the F-Word on national television :D

"WTF Happened?"

Jim Schwartz is a good coach, but I still think Jim Mora was the best coach ever. His rants were priceless.

Jim Mora? Seriously? If you're talking best coach ever, you're talking people like Walsh, Shula, Brown, Lombardi. Mora doesn't even come into the conversation.

Let me correct myself Omnis. When talking about coaches with crazy outbursts, Jim Mora was the best. When talking about coaches who contributed to the sport, then Tom Landry is one of the best in my opinion.

Ummm what? Seahawks won????? Good lord miracles do come true. Too bad it's one of very few this year I'm thinking.

Lynch ran pretty well today. Jackson was still unimpressive to me.

OK. I dunno, then, I don't think Dennis Green would let Mora off the hook.

Yeah, I have a problem with finishing sentences. Often leads to some posts making no sense. Redskins against Dallas tonight. Sexy Rexy and the Skins offense (more importantly our running-game) and continuing to play well defensively are the keys to a Washington victory.

I still think some people take losses in different ways. People still think we're the same old Texans when faced with top level talent. That's what it was like when people commented on how the Texans let one slip away. In order to win, someone has to lose. It's not like we should have won by 17 or more. New Orleans was clearly a much more talented team while we're still trying to break into the Playoffs. I've seen multiple college games... no, I've seen multiple games in many sports where the execution was just ugly, but people still win games. Sometimes, you have to learn to win ugly games. Texans could have won by much more with better execution, but you have to right the ship any way you can. We (sadly) didn't do that yesterday in New Orleans. Some people obviously need to chill out and take note of the positives.

Or as I said in this excerpt of a Facebook status update: "You fall down, then pick yourself back up. It's called life." Learn from your mistakes and get better when the next game comes along.

Redskins at Cowboys TONIGHT!

Ideas on the game were already supplemented by VADENAL. Who are you taking- the 'Skins or the 'Boys?

*THROWS PHONE AT WALL* Just the slightest bit. Redskins inability to convert on 3rd downs in scoring situations killed us. Plus Gano is a terrible fg kicker.

Denny Green was right. I remember watching that press conference. The Cardinals totally blew that game and let Rex Grossman take credit for a game that was won on special teams.

My favorite NFL coach swearing: (language: http://i31.tinypic.com/2dalnac.jpg)

In all sports, I think my favorite rants have been from Ozzie Guillen.

Anyways, with today's victory by the Cowgirls, my lead on first place in my fantasy pick 'em league has grown further still. Keep being you, Rexy! I'll pick against Washington all year as long as that dude is taking snaps.

Cowgirls?! :grumpy:

Yes, Cowgirls. Some fans are avid supporters of the Cowboys starting qb, these fans are sometimes referred to as Romosexuals. Okay, enough with my childish antics.

We lost cause Grossman held the ball too long. Disappointing.

We play the Rams next. Not going to be easy to go into the Edward Jones Dome and win. I expect to see a strong showing by Bradford and the Rams offense, and we are going to come out of there with a 2-2 record.

Funny thing, the Redskins started 2-0 record last year before faultering and finishing with yet another record. We started 2-0 this year, different players same old story...

We lost cause Grossman started for the offense at quarterback.

/Fixed.

I say that if you're going to go an trade for a young quarterback, you might as well given him a shot. Beck hasn't really had a chance to be a teams' official starter so I don't see why Shanahan doesn't throw him in there before the season is a wash (which is what happened when he started a few games for Miami). It's only 3 games into the season and you already know what Grossman can't do. Give the young guy a shot and find out if you need a first-round QB from the 2012 draft or not.

I actually agree with you on this one Villain, I thought Beck outshined Grossman in the preseason. I would like to see Shanahan use the win and in approach, or use each quarterback for what they are good at. Grossman throws deep balls only, Beck does the rest. It seems with Grossman at the helm, the Redskins NEED to keep an extra player back for blocking. With Beck it's less of a concern.

And if Beck doesn't work we always have Kellen Clemons :scared:.

I'm a Texans fan (obviously), but I would NEVER call the Cowboys the "Cowgirls" or anything like that. Some people take their dislike of things too far and to unnecessary levels.

Speaking of which, we're back home to Reliant Stadium (new logo and all) this week to host the Steelers followed by the Raiders the weekend after. I'd be happy if we were to finish this little home stand 5-1 before heading up to Baltimore in our next road game (gulp!). Steelers are tough, and vs. Raiders isn't an easy match, especially not this Raiders team. We'll see what happens with my boys this Sunday...

The rivalry between the 49ers and the Cowboys goes back a little farther than the one between the Texans and... anyone.

/just sayin'

Although I can be professional about it, the Cowboys are really the only team in the NFL I genuinely don't like. Like I might not care for a few teams for various reasons, but I even struggle to root for them against whomever is winning our division if they happen to face each other.
