No, R35 GTR LM concept car is a prize car in one of the endurance races, so it's not worth buying as you will win it at a later date.

There's a thread that details what cars you win for each race, might be worth checking that out so you know what to buy and what you're going to win. 👍

Plus it seems very slow in the Dream Car championship.

The fastest car in the Dream car championship is the Jaguar Le Mans car, that's got more power than the R35gtr Le Mans Concept and weighs alot less, something like 200kgs (I can't check specific figures for both as I'm in the middle of a B spec endurance race).

This large power to weight advantage the Jaguar has means you're going to have to setup the GTR for each race individually and drive it pretty fast and consistenly to have a chance.

It'll probably struggle alot at Indy and Sarthe as the Jaguar's advantage is so great it will really make a difference at high speed, but on the more twisty circuits the difference can be made up through setup or driving.

Make sure you've got racing soft tyres on your GTR, otherwise you won't stand a chance, alternatively use a Le Mans car, Formula Gran Turismo car or the Minolta prize car from ''Like the Wind'' series.

This should make it alot easier.

The GT-R is a neat looking car and is fun to drive (at least it was in GT4, haven't got it in GT5 yet), but will get smoked in both GT All Stars (racing against Audi R8, Bentley, 787B, 905, etc.) and Dream Car Championship (biggest challenges will be GT LM Spec II, GT LM Spec II Test Car, GT LM and XJR-9). You'd be better off with a fully tuned ZR1 RM for about the same amount of money.

The GT All Stars isn't too bad, the AI cars are a bit lame in this series, I managed to win it in a JGTC Supra, which has less power than the R35gtr concept Le Mans.

I had to do a fair bit of practice and set the car up for each race individually, then drive pretty fast and consistently, it's hard but achievable - in the end.

I won four races and got silver in the other, that was enough to win the championship, job done! 👍
