No Helmet or Suit Prizes!?

What the hell are you talking about?^ I bought them both in the ucd long ago.

You get some, yet you lose some.


I expected the prizes to drop after the update, but stupid me I didn't grind :scared:
 
I've just finished doing some seasonals after not being allowed in earlier in the day. My first win I received a paint chip and then next race I won a helmet for the same race and placing..I also won a suit at La Sarthe in my Ferrari SP1 for winning which was a first...It seems some of the prizes have swapped steps on the podium but I do get more than just horns or paint again.

By the way, since 2.0, if you got any duplicate suits or helmets they are counted as '1' and not combined with the other suits/helmets of the same type. Before 2.0 I had a few Horizon helmets that didn't get combined with the other duplicates. Hopefully they can straighten this all out.....

Yes mee too I hate the fact they don't combine I hope they fix this
 
I'm going to be pissed if this isn't a temporary fix for the DLC. If it's permanent and seasonals only give out paints...meh I'm probably done doing seasonals then.
 
Posted in another thread but, Gears are being Won again. As I got paints this morning and now back to Gear this Afternoon.

However I did join Playstation Plus?:confused:

As I posted earlier things are almost back to normal.The difference being the top prizes on some of the seasonals have been swapped out for the top prize in another race of same series...Also the older seasonals all now have prizes as well.
And to add I've managed to lose my 200% bonus for all races. Now racing for stated prize money.
 
And I've also noticed that the FR Challenge has only 4 events instead of 5 :odd:(don't know if this is just my copy and its the Deep forest race.) and I'm getting the DLC suits and helmets as well.

Won a Woodland suit this morning playing the Ferrari seasonal at La Sarthe, where helmets were the previous payouts.

I don't mind the switch, since I was winning multiple helmets grinding for cash at Le Mans, now I win suits! A chance to even out a bit.
 
Hi, anybody STILL getting new DLC helmets (Desert Camo, Skully, Untamed, Safari) from grinding the Seasonals ?

I've been getting old design helmets for a while now, new ones are hard to come by, probably ran out of luck. :dunce:

I can confirm that you can still get new stuff, just got a woodland suit doing the DTM races on the oval track (~4mins per suit, slightly longer than doing LeSarthe Ferrari atm, but less concentration required ;))

So far:

DLC Helmets: Desert Camou-27, Safari-19, Skully-1, Untamed-13, Warp Drive-26 and Reinforced 32, which is not DLC but the old styles only used to go to 30

DLC Suits: Graffiti-32, Flame-2, Flame-17, Woodland-18

Just got Flame-17 about a half hour ago.

However I SUSPECT PD fiddled with the new Simpson helmets prizes (not gifting them anymore) in the Seasonals AFTER the prize glitch when they switch to all paints and horns.

So far I notice Flame and Woodlands suits are still arriving. Appreciate any updates if you feel that you are NOT getting new Simpson helmets (Desert Camo, Skully, Untamed) since the prize glitch.

Got a "untamed" (simpson) helmet and a "safari" helmet yesterday. I though, when they changed all seasonal prizes to colours and horns, that maybe prizes switch from time to time (one day suits, one day colours).

I got a Skully helmet last night on my first seasonal race. So they are still coming in for both helmets and suits.
 
after 2.01 you cannot win the new helmets/suits anymore, only the old ones....
that sucks hard.....

My last 50 seasonal prizes were old design helmets. New ones are not forthcoming... PD is fiddling with the online prize logic again :(
