I was rewiring some stuff for my surround sound and i had it on top of my entertainment center and pulled it out to get behind it and well it fell and landed on the corner and broke.

Are u going to buy a new set?

I mean GT3 is all in my life for now.

Well i think i found the problem, the cd laser has a huge line in it and the motor doesn't work. I found replacement lasers for about $100 but i don't know if i should buy that and find out that more of the system is messed up and have to buy a new playstation for $300 and end up spending about 400 or so. AAAAAAAHHHHHHHHH what a hassle. Thanks for all the support though cause that game was basically my life.

Give them a call, take theire advice, try to talk them for a discount, in they end they care about customer service, sound like you are desperate, maybe, you know maybe it will work.

Yeah, I think Sony will ask for like $165 to fix it. They'll get it to factory spec and give you a new 90 day warranty too. :thumbsup:

sort of same thing happened to me,


one day i was playing gt2 last year and tured it off,the next day it daid it could not read the disk,i tried every game i have,none of them worked,then i called sony,didnt help.... ,so i went into wallmart cussed them out and got my 300 dollars back!!!!
my warranty was even expired!!!!! 😈 😈 😈
