This car is completely absurd. I bought the premium 91 NSX a while back and was in love with it immediately, it was just a joy to drive. Some time has passed and I had a big pile of credits laying around, so I decided to finally try the newer premium NSX-R.

It's been a while since I have been this impressed with a car. The handling is just phenomenal. I put Sport Softs on it, changed the oil and installed an air filter before I took it out for my first run.

Everything on this car feels perfect. I swear even the force feedback on my DFGT feels completely different when driving this car, way more direct. The car is so cooperative, predictable, and well behaved in general that I had to keep checking to make sure I hadn't accidentally enabled a driving aid or anything...this car is amazing. Make sure you check it out :)

The NSX Type R '02 is such an incredible beast around the track it isn't even funny anymore. I've got one in Midnight Pearl, the white Prodrive rims with sport softs on it and an oil change, stock otherwise.

A dream to drive. And doing sub 7:40 times at the 'Ring. Quite impressive for a car that's weighing in at 2500+lbs and only got ~280HP.

Due to the lack of euro cars in the game I've started trying out all the japanese ones. The NSX-R is pretty dang sweet. I've kept it stock, except for sport softs, but I plan on tuning a second, and buying a '91 for RMing. The NSX LM road car concept is also a great version, and the HSC (not quite the same) concept is great as well.

Nice, same color I went with 👍

This car is so perfect that it would be a crime to tune it!

does this apply to all the NSX cars (from the UCD) or is it just the stock versions?

The one that is refered to in this thread is the 2002 premium one, I don't know if the ones in ucd are as good however they will about the same amount of credits so why get the standard one?

I'll try the 2002 P then 👍 finally have some money to play around with

NSX is one of my favorite car, is a delicious, there is no understeer(sport soft), no oversteer (of course is a dream powerslide :sly::sly::sly:) and is pretty fast(it isn't X2010 but I enjoy this car in the same way).

I bought the NSX '04 from the UCD yesterday and it's stock HP was higher than the traditional 276 at 289 but it was a bit heavier, too.

I know the Type S Zeros are really lightweight but I haven't bought one yet.

What is the best NSX?

The car is a straight beast. I used a tune I found on these boards and it drives on rails. So impressive, no oversteer, no understeer, just perfect.

hands down, this is probably the best car I've driven so far.... I've just taken corners which I didn't think was possible! And.... I could go on and on! You just feel this car like no other, freaking fantastic :D

Any street car is gonna be crap to an all out track race car.

I think he was talking about the LM Road car, not the LM Race Car.

The NSX-R LM Road Car is a beast to drive, but is so fun.

I've got a late 90s Type S Zero, which oversteers like mad and I don't care for it.

I've also got the NSX-R from the honda dealer which is amazing.

The best NSX I have is the concept LM road car which is definitely the best I have, though the concept LM race car and the Super GT ones are certainly better.

As far as real road cars though, I think it's the 02 Type R from Honda. Championship White or the Midnight Pearl make it better :sly:

Apparently Ayrton Senna was one of the test drivers when they were developing the original NSX and he helped them fine tune the suspension.

That Senna video is crazy. He doesn't wear a helmet or anything, pretty sure the insurers wouldn't allow something like that these days.... I think maybe he should have worn some gloves too, I noticed he took BOTH hands off the wheel to wipe them on his overalls while approaching the hairpin after the bridge! Lol.

He drove the Type-R, too :)

I only have standard NSXs at the moment (5 of them), and they've all been brilliant. But I expected that. :p
I've only driven them on their stock tyres, though.

EDIT: "Gan-San" ([WIKIPEDIA]Motoharu Kurosawa[/WIKIPEDIA]) has driven a few NSXs around the Nürburgring, and he doesn't hang about either!
Not bad for an old man...

The NSX-R is a blast. It's great fun chasing down opponents with superior power. Though a little skittish around some tracks with irregular surfaces, it's still a very planted car.

👍

This thread inspired me to get a 2nd one to keep it stock....took it to the ring for a few laps and with sports hard and no aids bar ABS @1 it was a fun roller coaster ride....luckly matching the actual time @ 7:56. Though I think there is a low 7:50s in there somewhere...
