I'd do it depending on the cars people are running I'd prefer to run a non RM Tuscan Speed 6 but if that's not competitive then i probably won't do it.

im open to suggestions regarding cars, as long as theres equal (ish)

what weight/power/pp is the tuscan?

Sign me in for this one!

What are the regulations in regards to Car Specs?

I think you should put a maximum of 500hp and a minimum of 1300 kg, that way no one will be running detuned LMP's and you'll give the newer and heavier racecars a fair chance! And it won't turn into a SuperGT race!

what about 600 pp but you have to stat your car here so people dont take the pi$$. 600 pp has a massive range of cars. Keep the ideas coming

The PP system is just too inacurate an leaves out so much stuff, again the lighter cars will just dominate as they are way easier on tire wear...
Anyways I have enough options to select from, just triying to get different cars in and give them a fair chance, again not just the usual suspects...

In keeping it as close to the original a spec race how does 550bhp / 1300kg sound. That would mean a fast and fair race.

I think you should put up a sign up list! And send out PMs to everyone one or two hours before the room goes online just as a reminder!
Also, put me up provisionally with a Team PlayStation R8LMS, I want to go trough my garage before making a final desission.

Would like to join, but why can't each driver use the race options that are available?

Isn't raceing about doing your fastest laps posible within the 550 bhp / 1300kg ?

Car: Ford Falkon V8 Supercar?

Or the Fairlady Z concept, or the GTR-concept racecar. Havent decided what I'd use for a 1,300 kg weight minimum.

You can use any car you like within those rules.

Not really sure I understand what you mean, you can use any car within the 550 bhp/1300kg limit as long as it hasnt got a massive advantage

Lets try and keep it roughly in the same genre of car, no point steaming off with a supercar, the more equal it is the better race it will be

Please confirm if your are racing and I will add you to the list in the original post

I am looking forward to this one:cool:

i would be in depending upon time... Keeping the cars in close spec would be best for competition. Also detuning cars to meet specs is not the way it should work, so LMP cars should not be entered... Even if they meet the power and weight restrictions the aero advantages over production race cars are unfair. anything to keep the entries even yields good racing.

I completly agree with you Govna240. lets try and keep all the cars the same gerne. it will make it a fun race then.

the a spec 4 hour nurburgring is one of my favourute races, so doing it online should be epic

Put me on the list, I sent a message on your PSN.
Any reason for the 1300kg, it rules out the GT and Touring cars?

No it doesn't! You can easily add ballast to them to get them to Spec. The main reason is to leave out the LMPs and the downforce monsters.

I wanted to keep it as close to the a spec race as possible hence not using touring/gt cars.

obviously majority rules though

What is the type V layout?
Just a warning we not racing on the 24H? They will think it's a money race!!
Just checking?

I was thinking then, My Nissan GTR V-spec 09 or my Amuse S2000 Turbo. That has to be OK, since the AI uses the S2000 Amuse in A spec 4 hours I believe. The V-spec is basically just a tuned street car.

I'll probably enter the GTR V-spec since its the easier of the two to drive and it doesn't need ballast. I'm also thinking about the IS-F racing concept. But I dont know if thats okay?

The Lexus IS F racing concept fits right in beautifully for this race! You should be ok.

Also there's a bunch of cars I would go for, like the LM cars wich can all be easily put to Spec.
