OK, guys, we can all go home now :p

Had another 4 laps tonight. New splits:
T2: 1'48.980
T4: 3'36.250
T7: 6'28.739
T10: 8'51.098

Don't know if I'll be able to get any more out of it... Feels like I'm the raggedy edge now...

zoxxy is that with MT ? once agian im asking cos i wonder if MT can give me some extra time (im shure that it can when i get used to use it...)
at dave im also at the moment when i can run faster than my best ghost at some places and slower at some other but my best lap so far hasnt chaned yet :/
But after seting up TCS and ASM to 0 (i didnt thogh that '74car can have them...) i already had t7 about 5 sec better but i have lost that lap due to trying be as fast as it is possible :/
 
After 3 laps covered, i got a nice time, i guess i can improve it by 2 seconds yet.

I ran 3 laps just as i was gonna dinner. :lol:
 
Wow, i´ve done one fluke of a lap. After doing 3 laps, 1 second better always than the before, and always geting dirty by centimeters, i was forced to push my extreme limit, and i got an almost perfect lap. There´s yet 1 second that i know i can down, but im just happy with my time, i improved my past time by 4.3 seconds so far. ;)

T2 - 1'46.764

T4 - 3'31.943

T7 - 6'23.945

T10 - 8'42.782

I guess i have a total of 250 km driven in that car.
 
Ok guys im submiting my time since i guess its a good lap. Can be improved by some 0.7 yet on a magical lap, but that will require some more kms and im happy with my actual time. ;)

I'll have to stand on this time for now with the VTA coming up. Not great, but hopefully I should be better preped for the next race though. 👍

Fustrating car to take out on the Ring for sure.
 
Dave, I took the liberty of creating a (very simple) leaderboard, with the 4 T-times and gap's based on the final T. I certainly hope you don't take it as bad critisism for your leaderboard in the second post, because I never meant it that way. I just think it's handy to see the gap's; let's you know how much time you have to make up.

Anyway, I put it on my personal webspace. You can find it at this link

When is the cut-off for submitting times by chance? If need be, I can have my times submitted later today, once I get home & have access to my T-Times as I'm at work right now and didn't put them to memory! :)

PS: Not sure about the rest of you, but unless the car is heading 'downhill', the fastest I can get the car going is abouti 85mph....down the long back-stretch, it gets up to about 108mph before it redlines out..so my T10 time (roughly 9'06:xxx) is WAY SLOWER then the that of Bigrew...and with no disrespect to them, I know I should be alot faster.

Hi SRD,

You can submit anytime upto sunday evening 11pm GMT+1.

The Spitfire hits 111MPH before its limiter cuts in and drops you a few mph, im hitting the limiter in 3 places, once in T2 and once in T3, then after the bridge on the back straight, for the section in T2 to get right up to the limiter means taking the flugplatz correctly....which isnt that difficult in this car as it is taken comepltely flat out 👍

Bart (onlyme) has kindly provided us with a leaderboard (see sig) so you can see where you may be quicker/slower than everyone, but dont worry about your time! iTs actively encouraged that people may post replays when the results are announced.....unlike the WRS this means if you take the time to view them you can see where you are losing time and then better yourself for the current weeks time 👍

Try to avoid hitting the limiter! Tap the gas and keep yourself at about 177/178 km/h, and you'll earn seconds. :D

T7 missed on replay again :banghead:

Whole lap improved by 1.5 seconds but should have been 2.5 outbraked myself into last chicane 👎

Seen 1:48.1xx at T2 couple of times and then screwed up the lap....

Well I managed a T10 of 8'59 thats it for me :(

EDIT: 8'56 now, I don't know how you guys are so fast?! I thought I was fairly handy round the 'ring, but it doesn't seem that way! :nervous:

Good job, bigrew on breaking the 9 min marker. As you rightly say, keep plodding along. You and I are pretty much even with our times in the WRS (except this week :p), so I know you'll find some improvement yet.

Didn't have a chance to drive today and yesterday (taking inventory at work). Maybe a last attempt tomorrow evening.

Updated the board though.

yeah that´s what i would say. I am always fighting with the engine in the parts before T2 and T3, keeping straight away in 178 km/h or 177, and don´t leting it revs.

New splits for me and i finally broke my goal barrier 👍

T2 - 1:48.376 (seen 1:47.6xx and threw away again)

My final lap was quite scruffy but legal so i may leave it at this for this week.

Will post my replay when i post the results 👍

GMT 10pm Sunday is about 8am monday for me.

Currently 1:08am Sunday, so later today i will give it a good go!, but being just a warmup im not to motivated to get a great time :lol:

I've found that I can hit 111mph before it hits the rev limiter and I get to this on the main straight coming down to the dip (I actually just keep on the accelerator, because I've found that it's about to hit the limiter when it starts back up the other side of the hill and drops naturally). I also hit it just past T2, again coming down hill. I ease off about the 110/111 mark and feather it up the hill for the fast left in 4th and then right in 3rd.

I don't hit the max speed on the back straight (there's an uphill section here?).
