Not you're typical classic Rolls. This 1978 Rolls Royce Silver Shadow is powered by a turbocharged 6.8L V8 and has a manual transmission (a 4-speed manual which came out of a Ford F-250). The wheels came off of a Porsche Panamera as well.

I like lace paint, and while it may be odd on its own merit, employing it where chrome would normally appear is particularly unusual. I'd prefer to see this car in a gloss finish, though.

What's odd about that? It's just a Volvo 240 4-door, right? Well...look through to the driver side window and it appears larger than the passenger side. It could be an illusion, or it could be...

There are some rumors, like maybe it was a factory defect or it was done special for police use so that the rear has only one point of entry. I'm thinking it's neither, and rather the effort of a talented individual who happened to have one of each--after all, the roof skin and rear glass location are identical on both models.
