Pro Street Pontiac J2000; bass boat paintjob is a requirement. Ten points if you can guess in what decade this picture was snapped.

I know you like vintage Tex, but what about having both of these?
They're not doing anything for me.

...they're growing on me.
Athlete's foot grows on you too, but I don't think anyone finds it particularly desirable.

:P

those short shorts on the men screams 80's America.... Sooo early 2000's Australia?
Edit: NVM, i just noticed the Camera's. If not 80s, then very early 90s.

Careful, Aussies are crazy enough to tangle with kangaroos.

And that was a rhetorical question because it's so obviously, painfully '80s. Rick Dobbertin debuted it in 1986 and that picture is probably from when it was making the rounds, between magazine cover shoots.

I was thinking more Flyover States circa 2008.
Oof.

I want this:

It's been built by Brad Daberti and is running a Toyota V8 out of a NASCAR. It's also supposed to come to Forza at some point too.

That does make me want to see how a more modern version of the Pikes Peak Tacoma would look. Definitely neat, but I'm not too big on the wheels and wrap(or paint job?).

Pictures are tiny, but here's a more straightforward mashup in the form of a first generation Dodge Diplomat coupe with a Plymouth Volaré front clip that bolts right on.

I think it oddly works well, not a fan of that hood though.
Aww, you no like the dual snorkel?

I think the front end suits it incredibly well. While I don't care for the original front end on the 1980 Plymouth Volaré, I think it could work even better on the Dippy than the earlier one. Better than the Diplomat front end, even.

Given the amount of space in the rear of those Type 3s by virtue of the original motor's pancake cooling system, it's a wonder you don't see a wide variety of transplants. I'd wager a Chevy small block would fit without too much fuss; the trans swap such an engine would necessitate is probably the more difficult task.
