'official' car list?

as new year approaches the launch of the ps3 is soon within sight (hopefully) which should mean a increased amount of media for our most loved game, so iam wondering if anyones planning a car list akin to the 359's for GT4?

I'm sure there will be plenty of people willing to have a go. But it's still a bit early. We only know 2 cars that are in it at this point, all the others we've seen are GT4 car models.

The new R10 will probably be in the game to As will the new BMW M3 to be presented at the Geneva Motorshow (wich will take place at around the same time as E3 probably a bit before E3)

Correct me if I'm wrong, but there was an Audi R8 with the new GT paint scheme. It's the car that goes into the pits at the end of the TGS trailer.

We know there's going to be an RX-7 and Mitsu Lancer Evo Something, but those two are a given. Like saying a Skyline will be in GT5.

The bottom line is, we have not seen that car in GT5 yet, the ONLY GT5 built cars we've seen so far was that blue RX-7 and the Mitsubishi Lancer Evolution IX. There is a chance the new R8 will appear but we haven't seen it in GT5 yet. There were cars missing from GT4 that were "almost gaurenteed to appear", until you see it, don't count on it.

Live4speed is right you know. The only cars shown in the TGS vid that are actual GT5 renders are the first two, ie the RX-7 and Evo IX. The rest are made with GT4 physics.

Edit: I´m lying. Those two are actual Vision GT renders, nothing else.

Yeah, I'm right, thats a re-textured GT4 car model, not a GT5 one. As I said, the only two cars we've seen that are actually from GT5 are the blue RX7 and the Evo IX.

KY staten in a magazine interview that thoes two cars were what we'll be seeing in GT5, they were full GT5 polygon built models.

It’s not a simple re-texture, as the complex ‘05 wing has been modelled for the car. This is a new car in a new livery- it should be included in a list of vehicles that will feature in an upcoming GT instalment. A suitable disclaimer would of course be useful.

You have a point with the wing, I never noticed that before. However, it's still not a GT5 model, it could have come from a GT5 model, it more likely did, but we still don't know for sure.
