Hi guys,
My internet isnt going to be working for a while, so I'm curious to know of anything to do offline. Please tell me, I'm really board do I'm open to any suggestions.

Endurance events all the way.

 Practising other tracks that you normally wouldn't race or trying new cars.

Alright....I swear i saw a one make race option in arcade, or somewhere, but I can't find it.

I think one make race is in Practice mode?

Occasionally, I would go to Arcade Mode, start a race on Nur 24hr, and spend practically an hour with the AI. I already did this in two BMWs :p

No, is the simple answer. Unless you've just bought it the offline game died a long time ago.

Enter gt500 extreme event, run on sports mediums and add 200kg ballast, makes it a challenge. Change ballast/Tyre combo to match your ability.

Currently waiting for my new internet connection. So I am in same boat as you. Using phone 3g now.

Just so you know, I hotspot my phone to ps3 and played online, good comms, no lag or disconnects, could no believe it worked. I have a 100mb daily allowance so only stayed for an hour. Via ps3 connection test I had 8mb down and 3mb up.

Drive and tune cars you have never driven before. I have discovered so many wonderful cars this way

Don't tune cars. You'll get bored really, really quickly. At least for me. Try testing cars of the same category to see which ones are the quickest, such as ISF vs C63 vs M3, or Camaro vs Mustang vs Challenger.

I'm on my phone too. Thanks guys.

I also spent a ton of time with Photo Mode when the PSN was out. You could also enter the weekly Photo Mode competitions here.

Hot lap the ring, participate in the weekly driving competition a few members put together, photomode, learn to drift, do the enduros, etc

I'm surprised no one mentioned this BUT, you could grab a buddy and play some split screen. I know it sounds old school but I actually use it quite a bit. We usually do some home made D1 comps or drag races and it kills time pretty nicely. Also, you'd be surprised how easy it is to learn how to drive with someone when they're in the same room as you. This goes for racing, drifting, whatever.

Read a book? Take up fishing? Go for walks?

Already do that....except for fishing.

Yeah on second thought don't do fishing. It's the second most boring activity in the world.

Go Karting?

I Always work on my kart. :) I've just been very board lately and have nothing to do.

*Facepalm on my karting suggestion*

Erm, learn German/Chinese/Italian?

You could master "bored", "board", "bore" and "boar" before learning spanish.

And I'm french Canadian.

A while back when the network was down I started doing Aspec over with only stock cars on default tires. Had started w/ another game from scratch. Only counted wins if I didn't touch the AI at all and had to stay within track boundaries. Got through 3 levels and from what I remember the Vitz race and the Tuner Car Championship were competitive. Of course there's only 1 rabbit and moving chicanes. Gives an appreciation for all stock cars if nothing else. Seems like the AI's in the seasonals are better but are still just chicanes.

Tuning cars may bore some people, but if you are looking for a way to simply kill time, it's got my vote. If you are anything like me, you have hundreds of cars in your garage which you have not spent much time behind the wheel... maybe a quick race or two after buying, upgrading and tuning them but no real "seat time" to speak of. And remember, for each car you can save 3 different custom tunes in the settings screen (look for tabs A, B, C), and also you can custom-name each tune -- I have started doing "long track," "short track" and "endurance race" tunes (I don't drift, yet). On that note, why not spend some time practicing your drifting technique? Or practice manual shifting if you aren't already a master? And of course you can always gift a car to one of your friends if you are feeling generous.

Other suggestions: get some exercise, watch a movie, go on a date, take a nap, try a new recipe, call a friend or family member you haven't talked to in a while, do some yardwork, rearrange the furniture, do some laundry... I can think of a thousand things to do with spare time.

Yeah. This is just when Im extremely bored.
