Rather like this post......double pathetic.
just ignore the troll
The hilarious thing is that complaining about complainers is more pathetic than complaining about a really annoying aspect of the game
Rather like this post......double pathetic.
GT Auto has no place in the game. The maintenance aspects are pointless, and changing horsepower is simply annoying, though it's easier to fix with power limiters now.
Shelf GT Auto, and put all the used cars in the new car dealership. It would be a huge improvement.
This game should be completely realistic. It should take 15 minutes to change the oil in your car.
Hey, maybe if it's realism you're after, you'd be good with a 30 dollar DLC to pay for your 15 minute oil change.![]()
Ohhhh no! It's even worse.Except that over the course of the game that's a huge amount of time wasted on something meaningless. Seriously, the whole oil change thing adds nothing to the game. It's a neat novelty for the first hour and then it loses its charm. I've guestimated that since the game was released I've surely spent at least an hour just on oil changes, and that's a shame.
I guess what ticks people off (me included) is that it is blatantly obvious that they should have made this process easier. It is just pure stupidity. Whereas things like tune saves or tire pressure are things that not everyone cars about. And they are working on more premiums... but these things take time.So out of all the problems you pick this small, insignificant one? There are much more important issues to be fixed in this game. Lets have three tune saves, tire pressure, more premiums ext. I mean the list just goes on and on, and this is down at the bottom of them all.
This whole process takes around two minutes. With 1031 cars in GT5, that means you will spend 2062 minutes doing this. That's over 34 hours spent on buying a car and changing the oil, out of which approximately 90% is spent watching the GT Logo (loading screen) or a crappy animation.![]()
Watch HP from premium car before oil change and after oil change.Technically... there are 200~ premium cars that you don't have to do this too.
Watch HP from premium car before oil change and after oil change. And technically, you are not required to change oil for any car, as any car will keep running even if you never change it.
Am I the only one who find the oil change too long and annoying, it would be better if we could have an oil change option when we press the triangle in a car, It suck that each time I buy a car from the UCD, I have to waste time to change oil, the worst is when I buy multiple cars and I need to change oil in all them, very loooong and annoying 👎![]()
Ohhhh no! It's even worse.Buying a car from the UCD and changing oil is something like this:
Start at GT Life
Select UCD
Watch loading screen
Pick a car, and select 'buy'
Watch loading screen
Watch car purchase animation
Click 'Yes'
Depending on car, click 'Ok' for paint chip
Watch loading screen
Select GT Auto
Watch loading screen
Select Oil change
Confirm Oil change
Watch oil change animation
Select 'Ok'
Select 'GT Life'
Watch loading screen
Back at GT Life.

This game should be completely realistic. It should take 15 minutes to change the oil in your car. When you paint your car you should wait a few days for it to dry. When you get chassis repair it should be gone for 2-3 days.
Oil changes need to stay.
It is one of the few quirks that make GT different and unique from other racers.
I <3 GT Auto.
Nope...it only takes less then a minute to go through all the menu's to get to the oil, so if your that impatient, then this game is not for you.
