Looks even smaller now with the large DOHC head removed.

I am currently considering my options, since last Ive only removed the sump(oil pan), oil pump, oil pickup tube.

I decided Im not going to update anymore, due to fairly low interest plus a large amount of negativity of Skylines on GTP latety has made my personal interest in updating this thread diminish .


Anyone that has a genuine interest on how the Skylines going in the future please feel free to PM me

Aww you have to be kidding! I love reading about cars being fixed and what the problem was and seeing in pictures the problems and projects coming along!

This is one good thread!!! and it will be a waste if you dont finish it, obviously you will finish your car off so wheres the harm in giving a small update with pics every once in a while?

And to anyone dissing Skylines - they must be off their head, so what they are common! A Nissan Skyline to me is a piece of automotive history! a large chunk of what most manufacturers would have loved to have achieved (in terms of quality and power!).

Hell i get slated all the time because i'm a Honda fan! but i wouldn't write off my thread if it was as good as this!

I haven't been active in this thread but I'm coming out to ask you to continue it. I don't know what negativity you have been getting toward skylines (mustang man opened up a bunch of threads about the drag he went to and alot of people commented on the skylines there). I'd really like to see how your car progresses.

Thanks for the encouragement and thread comments guys but I dont think I feel like showing my car to the world anymore, too many things people say that they wouldnt say to my face in real life (not just on GTP) Thank god it has stayed out of this thread.

Part of the problem is the hype that was given to Skylines after movies like 2F2F and this leaves many people thinking Skylines is a fanboys car and they set out to prove to the world that Skylines are rubbish. So I dont want to argue it anymore because I am sick of it.

Like I said you can PM me to see how its going, or I can PM you updates from time to time. I just dont want the world to see anymore, only genuine people.


Also barryl85 I understand you must get the same but probably worse with Hondas, I dont understand why people are do that, I like Honda. Even cars I dont like I dont start crap with people that do like them.

i dont think all your gaskets and other parst that need to be stronger in a turbo'd car than a non turbo were made to handle that much boost, or maybe something else.... if you cant figure that out swap the motor out of a r32 into... i say that because the r32 is the fastest skyline available right now.

Sorry, I dont understand what your trying to say?

R32 parts are weaker and the engine is smaller than R33 (not talking about GTR's), Why would I use older R32 parts?

R32's are not the fastest Skyline anyway especially a R32 equivalent to my R33.

I'm sorry to hear the news as well. At least those haters did have enough sense to stay out of this thread. Perhaps the next update will be a drive you took in your Skyline.
