Wanchek you are completely lost. Your stuck in your own little delusional world. Get a clue bud.

So let me get this straight. You can't even do a lap without spinning multiple times without aids in a HSV(easy to drive)? And yet you think you know more about wheels vs. controllers than everyone else?

Try it by you're self before try to be a smart buy here.

Nordschlife
HSV
No aids
You'r setup
650pp limit. Time to beat 5.51.063
Good luck.

Everyone else?! NO!!!!! I didn't or mention this never!!
My Conclusion is that with an wheel u can be more precise, aggressive, and easier control the car, not to mention the perfect timing to control the throttle about off the corner without spining the wheels (all aids off) and hit the limiter.

Thnx man, I hope I find my self soon :)

Yes, you CAN be. Doesn't mean you will be. That's what I said it has the potential to be faster. It doesn't change the point that your ten second gap is not all down to the wheel, it's also down to your lower skill.

That's you're opinion and I respect that.

If you are so confident, try it by you're self. Just try with all aids off with that car and you'll see what am I trying to say.

The fact is that you don't like to play GT with DS3 at all. Me too. That's why we're not able to do better things with it. But it does not mean it's not possible.

Do what you can to get an wheel, pratice hard and have good times. That's what I will be doing too.

If you use L2/R2 you can have perfect throttle control too, WITH PRACTICE. Also, because you have not done much driving with aids off, it is hard for you to control the car, others have driven with aids off for most of their time playing the series, if not all, they can control the wheel spin.

Have you ever even tried a wheel? And do you really believe there's a 10 second performance gap with someone equally experienced in both?

This won't go down well for you, being perfectly honest.

Your limits don't define the limits of a DS3.

Me doing your test will prove nothing relating to what I said.

But you just indirectly shown you're own limits. So, you're comment from now on are irrelevant.

EDIT: I did te the wheel in gt5 a-spec. 3rd in the world on Suzuka, Ferrari F1!

And just one more thing, this is not like generaly speaking, like, that
With whole game the wheel ist faster, NO!!! In game state is that wheel or controller are almost identical. The game is coded that way that if you drive constaly lap times you'll be 1st, even tho you're 24secs behind the first place.

We're here speaking about Wieder Raybirg, Nordschlife.... Wheel/controller!

That's isn't a comparation thread anymore,now it's a challenge thread. lol

No, its an elitist, testosterone filled, "look at how fast I am" thread.

@Doodle classic example of my statement above. We all know you're good, but touting ones own performance level by affixing the word "alien" to it just doesn't sit well with me. If one day I am ever able to reach that promise land, I could not fathom of calling myself an alien or even bragging about my skill level, as some have done in this thread. I guess I am just more humble than most, or maybe I just refuse to forget just how much practice and hard work it took me to get to be the average driver that I am today. :) I really can't believe some of the stuff I have read in this thread. Stay humble you guys and let your peers give you the praise, you will gain a lot more respect that way. 👍

If someone here has links to the unbeatable 2.2 liter camry thread could you post it? That's about the level this guy is at right now.

U know that u can't drive with controller with all
Aids off on Nordschlife. And if u do a whole lap ure time will be high 7mins. Sooooo.....

What? You're making no sense.

IMO It depends on the car and track. The new FT-1 event was a good example where precise throttle control was needed to set a fast time so it really benefited wheel users. I was the fastest on a DS3 ranked 65th on that one :D Same goes for GTA R1 event. It's basically a heel and toe event with precise throttle and brake control simultaneously is needed for a good time. Not something i can do on DS3 unless you're a master with L2/R2 or maybe have an xbox controller.

My comments make perfect sense, thanks. You saying you can be both in first place and 24 seconds behind first place at the same time however makes no sense.

What time I specifically can do is irrelevant because it's tied directly to me skill. It says nothing about wheels and pads in general. PS because of my living situation I only drive with a pad in Gran Turismo, I can't use my wheel. Well I can, but it's a pain setting up, so I use pad 95% of the time on console.

I've tryied that method but is hard to get used to it, specialy brakeing
And changing the gears

So what do you use for throttle, brake, gears, steering?

Change gears using this scheme is really hard for me too. :D

EDIT: But I keep trying...

Do you palyed the arcade?!?!? How can that be that in the end of the first lap you're behind like 15 secs and second/their lap you're right behind the first place?!?! But at the end you're 15 secs behind, that's the point here!!!

Come on.....

So what do you use for throttle, brake, gears, steering?

Standard setting on controller X-throttle, qube-brake, triangle-reverse, Circle-handbrake.
L1/L2 gear down/up

Still not making much sense and I don't see what it has to do with the point at hand.

Could you please just refer back to my post starting with you are slow? That's answeres all of your questions and problems in a whole.

I don't use aids and using controller, and I am doing okay :D But I will get faster with a wheel though  Got years of experience on PC sims with a wheel and champ in SEGA Ferrari 355 with H shifter and clutch ( the best IMO )

You told us to do the test, and now you're against it, and it invalidates my posts from now on?

So let me get this straight:

You tell everyone to beat your time.

When we take you up on it to show you DS3's can go faster, you tell us that proves nothing, even though you told us it would.

Then, you tell those people they're rubbish because you've just told them not to do what you asked them to?

This is unbelievable.

I've tryied that method but is hard to get used to it, specialy brakeing
And changing the gears
We're getting a fair picture here.

You run RS, with aids, auto, and apparently because you can't drive without them, the DS3 is 10 seconds slower than a wheel.

As you're comment almost...
You're posts are barely in English, so we have no idea what you're trying to get at.

And even when you do make some sense, it's so ludicrous it makes no sense once more.

Standard setting on controller X-throttle, qube-brake, triangle-reverse, Circle-handbrake.

I use L2 brake, R2 throttle, Square/X gears, left stick steering. Seems like a very good setup in my opinion.

He might not be able to, but I know someone that can....and their lap times will be well below the 7 min. mark. So your claim here is not impossible.

Well what happened to this?
But you just indirectly shown you're own limits. So, you're comment from now on are irrelevant.
Let me guess, you'll be saying not to again in the next post?

I've tried the same settings! But it's hard to get the right feeling for this set up! I drive the Normal setup from the firs GT till now, and I drove a bit on xbox 360 Forza, and it's ok, when the throttle is on R2, but TBH tho, the xbox controller is far more better then the ds3!

He might not be able to, but I know someone that can....and their lap times will be well below the 7 min. mark. So your claim here is not impossible.

Under 7 ok but not near 5.43!
