I don't think you bumped me. I was getting a little squirly on my own.

Sounds good... Man, I sure dont like how somebody runs into you and then you get a 4.5 second penalty.... I was trying to bump draft you down the straight to get you going again after that one GTR knocked you off at the last turn but you were still transparent...

guess i hit start too late! it just wasn't as much fun being up front all alone...... hahaha... i like how we'd always finish at least 10 second ahead of everyone else!

Nope I never sandbag I got punted around the first lap while you built a nice lead and it took me the first half of the race to get it just you and me with a 3sec lead lol.

I think I was there for a few of those races. I know I saw Earth in a few races. I think I saw The Cheef..

YOu know whenever I go to Daytona Road Course the host quits 7/10 times.. FFS

Good race, Godzilla. I ended up taking out two40sx on a brake check on the long straight. I know I shouldn't retaliate, but he was knocking you around and he took me out on lap one where I ended up with a collision penalty, so...

No problem Earth; it certainly is very difficult to see people using the cockpit view. I look forward to some more races (and close competition) with you. 👍

No you keep the shift buttons the same.

Also notice the first post now has events scheduled from 12 noon to 2 am est. I keep forgetting those on the west coast are 3 hours behind est

Something else I do that's a bit of a cheat, but I have the "on the fly" settings controls mapped onto my wheel as well, so if I have a known punter slapping against my bumper, I crank up the TCS, then I turn it off when I get clear.

Hey that is awesome! I did not even find out till I read the games manual that you could change car settings in game with the wheels! That and the look feature have already solidifed my need for a wheel. I am just trying to master these cars without the aids on before I move on to the control of a wheel and pedals.




I celebrated my last final (which I bombed hooray) last night so I didnt get home till very late. I ended up grabbing an F430 and Tuned Evo X to begin setting them up as well. The Ferrari was great fun, and like my standard Evo, this one drives itself but has a POS under the bonnet. I need to keep working on the Evo though...I am getting a major loss of front end grip under heavy braking, trying all sorts of methods to tune it out (maybe 3 races last night) with no luck.

For the record even at 3am last night the races were full to the brim that I ran. The behaviour was worse than the night before as well . I counted on Suzuka that I got taken off the track 4 times and forced wide another 2. The 7th attempt exiting the final chicane failed because I was prone to being punted at the entry......

I also found one of the guys that everyone here has been complaining about racking up Suzuka laps last night (F1P1). Never really caused me trouble but he kept quitting as host over and over when he wasnt at the front.


***EDIT*** btw.....big fan of the extended late night schedule
***EDIT2** I also realised that pulling out all the underdog cars is not going to be so fun at this rate if I am slower than even one or two cars on track now...because it just seems inevitable that they will no matter what take you out sending you dee into the field to be overrun by stupidity. Will keep playing but when I get fed up I will pull out the race winning cars to pull away from the carnage.

I'll be at Fuji at 3 EST and will follow the schedule from there. If I dont see any GTP tags I probably will end up doing just 1 race and then wait until the next scheduled one
