I figured that's what it was. I thought I actually went too wide and left the door open for you, but those last turns at Fuji just have such awkward angles that it's hard to stay to the outside or stay to the inside and keep it clean.

You should have kept going since I was spinning, and you lost another place to the blue Viper.

The angles at Fuji is not the problem, its just that we cannot look side to side..so especially with the interior views you can only predict a cars location in your periphery.

I was running close to you guys at times but when you got squirly I had to get out of it and almost lost it a few times.

I noticed it very bad this night...stupidity all around. Not too much a patch can do unless it improves the code that ghosts people that swerve or starts sensing the actual force one car is transfering to the next.

We just need to work on getting GTP tags on all of us so we can pick each other out of the pack and know who we can trust on our tail. We also need to get organised in terms of the tracks/cars/time

Its interesting, it seems the smaller the races, the less noticeable the rubber-band physics are. In the 16-car races, its blatant, in the 4-6 car races, its possible to pull away without having the gaggle of cars slowing everyone up behind you.

I actually have the d-pad on my wheel mapped to "look left" and "look right"

Doh, sorry, didn't mean to double-post.

wow I didnt know you could look with the wheel! man another reason for me to go get one!

btw....restating for emphasis that we should all get the GTP tags. *cough cough wink wink* :sly: hehe.

if any of you are willing to meet up for a midnight round let me know now. If not shall turn in soon.

Ok, after holding 1st for over a lap and holding off a clio, I have to say... the whole PP thing is definitely borked. It needs to be 700pp and not ranked by ranked by pp usage. Starting at the front is just too large an advantage for anyone in the back to overcome.

Yeah, there was a decent opening but the problem is that it's very difficult to determine where the other person is like beside/around you. So you have no idea whether your going to make contact or not.

Losing 1 more position wasn't that big of a deal, I've got plenty of credits. I just race for the fun. Your Viper looks scary through the rear-view mirror, its bloody fast to say the least.

Yep, that was me. Agreed, that was a good battle, and thank you! I had been running an F430, but that Evo X Tuned feels glued to the track in comparison.
Yeah, I noticed that car was fast! I thought my GT-R was unstoppable...

I wish we could map the D-Pad buttons on our controllers to look left/right.

Haha that was great fun! It's kind of cool running at the back with an outdated car as you don't have to worry about getting taken out.

ima go setup my gtp tag! maybe be back on later tonight, maybe not... mom got mad at me for playing till almost 1 last night!!! we'll see....

Nice Racing!

I'm getting tired of the same thing over and over

Fuji is a madhouse now. So is Suzuka, and Daytona road is turning that way. I'm geussing alot of the bad drivers are graduating from the A events and are now decending upon the pro events using the same tactics they used to beat A class, just push the car ahead of you out of the way. Every single turn is seen as a passing opportunity, after all, whats the worst that can happen? You will bump the car ahead and send him sailing off into the grass and you just MAY receive a 1 second penalty and thats it.

In 90% of the races you either get pushed off the track, your car spins out due to changing rubberband physics, suddenly the entire race will start to lag, or the host quits.

We deserved much better from PD, even for just $40. This game needs to be patched again, SOON. I'm not talking about this fall, I'm tallking about in the next couple of months.

I just hope Slicecom is right and that most of these non-drivers will get tired of the game and switch to GTA 4 come next week. If they don't, then I might have to lol because it gets tiring to have one good race and then a bunch of crazy circus ones.

Danica Patrick  is on Letterman, after her segment is over I'll be heading online.
See ya there!!

Im sessioning Datona Road right now in my GTR making some quick cash to help fund the F2007! I'll probably only be on for another 15 min or so... Being a senior in high school has its perks... having a mom tell you when to go to bed is not one...

OK, Suzuka sucks. I dunno why people feel the need to ram you when you're in a 32 year old car.

I'll be back at Daytona, there seem to be less idiots there.

You can set Look Left-Look Right to whatever buttons you want. I have left-right set on my second stick, with the accelerate-brake (up-down) disabled on that pad so I don't accidentally hit something.

Unfortunately, with using both hands, I'm left with only being able to look left and right on a straight.

Something else I do that's a bit of a cheat, but I have the "on the fly" settings controls mapped onto my wheel as well, so if I have a known punter slapping against my bumper, I crank up the TCS, then I turn it off when I get clear.

Hey The359, try mapping left and right views to L1 and R1, then put the rear view to L3. This away you can look around on both straights and corners, only catch obbiously is you have to be careful not to push down the left analog when you don't want to.

Then I have R3 mapped to turn on and off the Quick tune settings, and the d-pad to switch and change the values.
