Man the weekends suck online!!
Suzuka 750PP was full of idiots!
DLy81 & GTR_Racing were master bashers, they punted me all over the place!
gt5P_DRIFTING was drifting down the straights trying to take out the whole field & some idiot was driving the wrong way.

I did manage to get a few good races in but they were few & far between tonight!

Yes Moose I was their and seen that guy in the red F40 acting an idiot and going the wrong way. I got puntted a couple of times as well...its was sad...but life rolls on. I went to the High Speed Ring 750pp after that and had some decent racing there.

Those fools stayed on until 2:30 a.m. C.S.T. I saw you run off in 3 races. A lot of host quitting too. NTSC is grim.

Hey Earth, that was some great racing last night in the F1. I have to say im sorry during race #3 i think it was, were on the 2nd to last corner (Fuji left hand turn) i "dive-bombed" you on the inside and you got the ramming penilty i think(?). I came up on you so quick for some reason, and when i hit the brakes it was a little late. It was either punt you from the rear and send you off the track or hit you from the inside and hopefully only move you over 20 feet to the right and get the ramming penilty for either of us. I did know my mistake thats why i waited, like other GTP'ers would of done.
I did Bump-Draft you 2 or 3 time's down the front straight, let me know if thats working or not working. I noticed you move to the right to let me know not to do it. And i do believe i bumped into you from behind one other race and im sorry for that.
As for the F1 @ HSR, those were some close races! I did notice i would pull a little on you, in the 1st corner (Long right sweeper) and the next corner after that but then you were right their on my ass the rest of the way lol.....waited till the end to draft past for the win...Gah! Got me twice!
That one guy, Pacmon or whatever who was with us on Fuji F1, was a slammer!! He was all over the place! After the 1st lap, 1st turn i noticed i had an unusual gap between us (normally your right their with me, or vise-versa) so i looked back and see you battling with him, half way through the 1st lap i was still pulling away and see you right their with this guy so i figured he was a dirty racer, thats why i slowed down. I'd rather race with you and have a good couple of laps then win the race by 30 seconds due to a punter taking you out. I dont mind losing to someone aslong as we have a good clean race.

Another Question I've been wondering why am i always the host it seems. Also why when i host is their only like 3, 4 or 5 ppl Max in the F1 races then in the normal cars its MAx been 12. mostly like 9/16 tho. I dont have a slow internet, Comcast HighSpeed. Last night some of the races were just me and Earth, F1 @ Fuji.

What time would you guys be able to make an F1 Race @ Fuji tonight? 9:30 EST the normal time or if you cant make it, post here so we can host another time. Not saying we are going to change the already set F1 @ Fuji time, just that some of us would get together at this time to race. I do find racing @ Fuji in the F1 with other GTP'ers enjoyable :)

Hey guys, fantastic racing last night in the 600 and 750 HSR races. I'm still feeling a little out of touch with the Ferrari 512, but I'll get there! It is a seriously fun car to drive but a real handful to keep under control. I'll keep practicing with that one as it is, for now, my favorite of the 600pp class vehicles.

Earth, those two close races in 750 were a blast. I'm sorry for the serious slam from behind I gave you in one of them. I was distracted for a split second by another car which came up fast beside me (GTP_bbcnascar2 I think). It worked out OK in the end though as you still came in for the gold.

I also enjoyed the races where we swept all the top spots, was it 4 or 5 of us? Some of the best racing I've had.

And yes, I too had trouble with the Clio.

P.S. Any of you play with the gearing of the Elise much? I've mucked about with it some, but on the straights it is like I'm standing still in 750pp races.

That Clio driver was an ass. I could see you in my mirrors on the straights, you had great top speed, corner speed seemed off though.

Where are you guys at the moment?

600PP Suzuka - found you both:)

GTP_cudadude, what a top speed - 3 wide on the straight!

THAT WAS THE BEST MOMENT OF ONLINE REACING YET. IF ONLY THAT WAS THE LAST LAP!
3 gtp cars 1 2 3, seporated by tenths of a sec, damn.

what do you think of my choise of car? I like to run something no one else dose. i'm getting the ballence pretty close. i think i can make it competitive yet.

At first I was thinking : what the hell is a 4door sedan doing here?

You had a great top speed but cornering speed was low, I had to brake everytime I was behind you for a curve. I say atleast take the G37 CONCEPT, that would be a better choice.

I just switched from the 350Z Opera to a NSX Type R, first time out, hit GTP_Digital_Relay, first curve, first braking point.

Second race versus GTP_Vaxen, I loose it out of control on 2 curves.

Conclusion : It's an handful but it's bloody quick, corner speed is higher than with the 350Z but it's harder to control.

That Mini in front of me was going way too slow into that first turn, so it wasn't totally your fault. Good race regardless and thanks for pulling over. I'm off to my daughter's birthday party, but I'll be back on late afternoon or tonight. Happy racing!

The NSX Type R is a fantastic choice for the 600pp races. Also, the Ferrari 512BB (Although you need to be gentle with the throttle around curves), the Audi R8 (fantastic cornering speed), and of course the WRX. The Mazda 6 is an interesting choice, but hard to take fast through the twisties due to its weight.

;)

Give a try with the 350Z Opera, I've won most of the races with it, awesome vehicle.
Corner speed is great and it is surprizingly very stable.

You will have to adjust the gear rations for a top speed of 280 and it will hold up its ground on the straights.

I remember this, no big deal we're just racing hard. You have to if you want to win a 5 lap race.

The bump drafting works, it speeds both our cars up and helps us pull away from everyone else. I pulled to the inside on another lap because I wanted to try and outbrake you going into turn 1 so I could have the lead during the lap and run my own pace.

I'm not a big of F1 cars on HSR Reverse, you were faster then me through every single corner, but I made all the time up in the draft. It's near impossible to break away from someone. Makes the races kind of boring in my opinion, just too easy. I would like to see Suzuka or Daytona Road replace HSR Reverse for the second F1 race.

The guy had alot of problems controlling his cars and was all over the place, just another example how a single driver can ruin it for everyone.

I think you have the fastest connection among the drivers in the race, so you get host, as for there only being a few people in each race I think that is because the F1 races aren't popular and the max drivers in a F1 race is 8.

I should be there at 9:30 EST. Adding the F1 HSR Reverse race to the schedule was a mistake, the racing is very bad there for several reasons.

I don't remember the contact, but I do remember squeezing you into the wall at the exit of the esses leading into the tunnel. That was an accident, your car has very good cornering speed and sometimes you can do things no other car can do like drive around me on the outside of a corner, and when I exit the corner I will use all the road and not know you are there. Once I hit you I backed off, or I think you pushed me off lol but that was an accident.

CWR has video of two our races at 750pp HSR where we had very close finishes. Watch the video and you will see everytime he started to get close and battle with us some hacks would always start to screw around with him and cause him to lose alot of ground. If we get a miracle and have a bunch of clean racers at HSR 750pp you will see a 3 or 4 way battle for the lead among GTP members.

Oh and sorry for getting you caught up in my little scrap with the Clio, revenge doesn't always work the way you want it to, and that's why you shouldn't bother with it as much...

Great fun, drama-kyd. 👍👍

Keep up the great driving. 👍👍

This was in the 600pp race with my Ferrari? Yeah, the handling in that thing just isn't very sharp. Overall grip could certainly be better. Also, I do try to drive the cars very close to stock in suspension settings most of the time, so I get to feel what the real car was like. So I hadn't lowered or stiffened that Ferrari at all. At any rate, I'm new to that car but hoping that I'll be able to become competitive in it as it is truly a blast to drive. (I'm one of those drivers who really has to practice with a car to get good with it. No way can I just jump in a unfamiliar car and drive it well. I have to really get to know it...)

OK, I'm obviously a complete twit because I can't find the links to these videos and would love to see them... Where are they?

CWR, would you mind if I occasionally do a video also (but fewer of them than you are trying to do?) I've been thinking of doing this, but I realize you put work into these and may not want someone else stepping in there. That's understandable.

What do you think about changing the PP for this race, to the bare minimum. Or atleast stock Areo settings. that way you cant drive the race flatout you have to brake for the turns. Find out the stock PP amount and we could race it that way. Might make it a little more fun.

Ok, thanks. For awhile their i thought i had the slowest connection and thats why the low amount of ppl would show up. Most ppl i've had in a race is 12/16.

I'll be looking forward to tonight!

Great fun, drama-kyd. 👍👍

Keep up the great driving. 👍👍

yea i kept having to pull over to the side because the phone kept ringing, but we had some good races overall.

Headin' out to Suzuka 500pp with my new ride for a quick chuckle.

Any takers?

;)

Just read the titles and you will figure it out. ;)

Oh, I don't mind at all. I am just trying to show you the racing from my world. Start yourself a you tube account and post them up there. I love watching those races you guys record.

Oh course I will be recording tonights races..Hope we have some good ones.
