A pretty good evening of racing, starting with 1 on 1 battles with CWR, then the 512BB battles with Panjandrum, then the F1 battle with Mighty Mopar, then the 512BB battles with Grand Prix, then the 750pp Suzuka races with Potatochip.
Me and CWR were having one on one battles in 500pp, he was in the Focus, I was in the BMW Z4. I pedaled as hard as I could but could not beat him at HSR, I even tried moving up the track for the last corner and try to build up my momentum for the straight ala NASCAR but that didn't help enough.
He had me beat again at Suzuka but I was able to steal one when he made a mistake in the final chicane
Panjandrum I'm going to have to cool it on the revenge thing, I get too caught up in the moment, the guy in the silver F430 roughed you up and I just couldn't stand watching it happen so I took him out. In the next race he thought I did him wrong so I could see him pushing 110% to try and get to me, and when he finally did he put me in the catch fence like he deserved nothing I gave him. Behavior like that leads me to believe the vast majority of bumpers/rammers think there is nothing wrong with that behavior online because offline accepts it and encourages it.
The Ferrari 512BB is a great car for 600pp. I used the Tuned Clio for one 600pp race and the car drove like it was on rails. I'm starting to believe that the reason so many bad drivers appear to be in Tuned Clios is because those cars are easier to drive. I won't be caught dead in them. That's why I switched to the 512BB for the second HSR race panjandrum, I felt like a loser racing your 512BB in such a easy car.
I need a car that is somewhat of a challenge to drive, rare, and fast. The 512BB fits that description perfectly. I also like how you can correct the car quite easily when it starts to drift sideways.
Me and Might Mopar again had good battles at Fuji, there was a fast guy there called gar69 or something, I lost any chance at the race twice by receiving rediculous 4 second penalties in the slow technical portion of the track. Putting 2 tires over the rumble strip is worth a 4 second penalty, but getting your entire car outside of the track on the last turn's exit or first turn is just fine? PD should quit with invisible barriers and just make it a rule of thumb that if you get all 4 tires outside of the rumble strip you get a penalty if you weren't pushed off. The current system is a joke.
The racing with Grand Prix and other GTP members at Suzuka 600pp was great. Why only 3 laps? Why no pit stops? Why? The great races end too soon.
Finally the 750pp races with Potato chip were OK, there was some dumbo called DA-KILLA something in a white S2000 who didn't have a clue, I'm sure Potato chip saw him push me off the track, and then he started giving potato fits and I ended up crashing into potato, sorry about that.
You know everyone says just wait for the bad drivers to spin out, yeah that works for alot of them but there are some who have the ability to keep it between the curbs somehow, and they can really cause havok.
Oh and I remember the host of one of the 750pp races missed turn 1 on the last lap, slid into the grass, and promptly quit. clueless
