Look who's at number 8 is this the guy. Personally I have never had a problem with him when ever I have been up against him 👍.

All it says is he picks his moments! I know how blatant he was against me 👎 maybe he is like a Jekyll and Hyde character! ... I definitely met up with his Hyde side when we raced.

Good to see some people actually got to do 3 laps without him sideswiping or shunting them  My personal opinion of him still stands until he shows me different :)

You're not alone, I've had a few iffy times with him, perhaps he just takes too many chances or is a little inconsiderate with some of his passes but doesn't realise it?
I have had clean races with him, its just he pulls some pretty dodgy overtakes from time to time, at least from what I've seen.

Fuji is a notorious track for dodgy moves and I dont think the majority of drivers on it realise the mulitiude of fast lines around there and seem to assume that going wide = you have gone out when it more often than not means you are still in are taking a faster line.

Perhaps you are viewing him as bad driver purely because he doesnt wait when he hits you?
Whatever, at least we can agree he is a driver to avoid because of his dangerous driving and iffy moves.

hyperuk - Thanks for letting me pass, but as you saw, I do a lot better when you're in front.👍

me too... 👍

Too bad Donk you made that little mistake... we had a great battle with Andycol65 (it) finishing .930 & .931 :)

I would love to have some more racing, but I have to be up @ 6 to go build some Lotus Cars. See you peeps tomorrow in the afternoon. 👍

Thanks DONK for organising the event.

Hey Mr Beerz... better use petrol in your tank than Beer 👍

Sorry for sending you on Mars, wasn't expected your car to spin there :sly:

Yep Suzuka ;)

I think we need a better connection time than every quarter hour ... so many punters in the 00,15,30 etc ... the event earlier showed we had more success with using odd numbers to connect, it's like there's some other giant OLR forum thats full of punters and they arrange the every quarter past meet like we do and boom! .. we are in with them 👎

I wasn't either! :dunce:
You don't have to apologize, I'm the one who screwed up by not posting here before the race saying I had just bought a GT LM and was going to take it for a spin with a home-made quick setup....
Sorry for ruining your race, Wayne. :ouch:

If anyone sees me spin, move on while laughing hard! 👍

Ron - How about every 12? Races are very short, less waiting between races, could work fine.

Sphinx - Was it me who caused you to go out on Spoon? On the previous lap I almost couldn't make the turn because Ron's car kinda sucked me in while I was braking, so on lap 2 I braked a bit earlier and I think I caught you off guard, as you were slipstreaming me at that time and carried quite the speed there.
If it was my fault, sorry. 👍

Alrighty, I'm gonna chuck my 2 cents in here regarding synchronising...it seems to me that this haphazard method is flawed. Since there is only a few races we all seem to participate in we should stagger the Expert races out. When the events change the schedule changes. We could have a sticky in the "GT5:P Race Events" Section called "###_GTP Official Race Schedule_###" As an example we could use the following

  • F430 vs. GTR - xx:00 - xx:12 - xx:24 - xx:36 - xx:48
  • Suzuka 750PP - xx:04 - xx:16 - xx:28 - xx:40 - xx:52
  • Fuji 600PP - xx:08 - xx:20 - xx:32 - xx:44 - xx:56
If everyone sticks with the schedule you'll always find a race with GTP'ers. It solves the problem Ron mentioned about syncing with idiots and it means you're never waiting around for a race. Thoughts?

Entirely my fault, Beerz. 👍

Anyone fancy some Suz750? would be cool for some arranged meetings at specific times as I just ran 2 races there and the kids were all out playing with their bumper cars 👎
