Well, i've been getting problems like Fyshokid since our brilliant race at HSR, and have only seen two other GTP members and they both quit mid-way, one was Type-R but I can't remember the other one. I managed to win two races at Fuji in my Impreza, barely beating somone in the first one, but the second was close until the second lap. I had a few races at suzuka but I always got pushed into the gravel trap before you go under the bridge, or the host quit. I'll cya's tommorow. Happy racing!
 
I will be racing the Suzuka PP700 tonight from 11pm GMT onwards if anyone would care to join 👍 I will be dragging a few friends in with me also hopefully! and via msn chat or teamspeak we will try to get as many GTPers on the grid as we can ;)

What other new events do you think they will have? Personally i would like to see pro stock car events.
 
I can race until 10pm UTC, then my mom goes to sleep and the DFP makes to much noise.

Now that we have a race schedule, wouldn't it be a nice to have a chatroom for those participating in these races?
There are a couple of threads about chatting, but there isn't much response to those.

Me? that depends really. Some days you can find me online all day long and on other days i'm only online for like an hour.
I'm mostly online in the afternoon.

👍 It's ok. Didn't pay any attention to it. Just glad to see a fellow GTP'er out there.

Later I quit because a couple of very pushy guys, who drove me off on several ocassions.
 
The amuse is really not forgiving, is it? :)
I'm getting used to correcting the unstable oversteer, but accelerating with a back wheel on the grass is deadly most of the time.
 
You said it:lol: Such a fun car to drive though and worth every penny. Looks like a space rocket inside:cool:

It can also be very twitchy around some corners. The main one I have trouble with is the Suzuka hairpin. The camber of the corner and the bumpy strips make it virtually impossible to apply any decent power until you're in a straight line. Top car though!

I'll probably head on for some london 700pp races at 22.30 (GMT) Hope to see some of you there:)
 
ill probably be at london 700pp as well. i need to farmiliarise myself with track at 600pp first because i dont race it much :)
 
i recently met sjaak, amg and vanuber7. it's good to meet some clean drivers from gtp or gtrp once in a while .

So do we follow the schedule every day, or do I have to look up a new one each day?
 
Schedule expires on the 24th so we just follow it till then. I'm jumping on in 30 minutes for suzuka 700pp and fuji after that.

*edit* Those were 2 good first races. great racing gtp_southslider. I think i may have nudged that blue clio though off even though I had no contact on my end.

Where did gtp_ron come from in the first race. I actually thought I was winning the race after lap one then after I spun out I noticed GTP_Ron was actually leading lol.

*edit2* great racing southslider. Sorry if you rear ended me at the end of that last fuji race. I got penalised cutting a corner and the penalty stopped just as you came up to me.
 
Some cool races tonight at Suzuka PP700 guys 👍 I raced a few times with Superwally, Southslider and remember a few more like MagBurner and Jpap ... awesome fun guys :cheers:

I have to mention to Superwally regarding the nose to nose contact at the 130R on lap 3 when you lost it and went arse over tit on the last couple of bends! .. firstly I saw you spin off onto the sand but when you got back on the track you were totally hidden in a 20 foot dustcloud and only saw you again when we were nose to nose .. Unlucky there mate! You should have bagged that one for sure .. but pressure is a great thing and it was a cool race upto the last few bends :cheers:

also @ Southslider .. I cant say I really know you from GTP bud! but after racing you tonight you have my full respect as a great online racer very fast and a gentlemans attitude to racing, we had some wicked battles man! and I look forward to more of the same. You should have kept going when I lost it at T1 mate, but I'm humbled by your racing spirit! it was a pleasure 👍

Probably the best night of racing I have had online yet with a great bunch of racers .. can it get any better than this? Thanks guys

LOL, my arse/tit inversion resulted from a perfect storm-GF came through the door with a load of laundry (I'm right by the front door) and the phone went off. I was already mucking up that last lap anyway, I felt guilty about bringing a gun to a knife fight and went full Superwally Superchoke.

Fault is all mine! Besides, I wanted to see what you look like.:sly:

Too bad you exited the (next?) race at the hairpin-I think everyone was going to wait and commence battling again.

Next time out, I'll be sampling a different ride, so wave (honk?) when you zip on by.
 
Sorry mate .. some confusion somewhere as I never exited any race tonight!
I will say though that on one race everyone was behind me by about 8 seconds and must have had a pile up at the chicane after T1 and 1 by 1 all the opponent dots disappeared on my screen? so I continued anyway thinking well its easy money in the bank ... just finish it :sly:

.. only to finish the race as the only guy left on the track! and got nothing for it! what happened to my 50K? ... haha! must be a glitch or something.
So for anyone reading this who ends up the only guy on the track as the host when everyone leaves or gets booted ... dont finish the race thinking it's easy money! because you get nothing :lol:

Huh, that was bizarre, then. Just past T1 I thought I saw you go wide before the hairpin, I slowed in the hairpin to wait for you to come back on track, so did Southslider and the other person, but you were just gone..... :scared: Must have been the same race you made nothing for your win. :crazy:
