Saw you there yesterday. Nice driving.

So, I know by the schedule there is a 600PP event coming up, but I'd really like to try my Tuned Vette against some GTP members. Any takers? Tell me where and when (700 PP)
No takers eh? Oh well, I guess the thought of a good Vette scares peopleBut seriously, perhaps another time eh? I'll be around Suzuka if anyone's interested.
I would love to race but first I have to work in our Garden, tonight I'm on arround 20.00 +1 GMT. I'll drive a white Alfa 147
or a Ford GT Tuned
Just had a great race against a "MystrP" in an Elise, until the host disconnected 2 and a half laps in. Any relation, Ron?

Private rooms cant come soon enough! I passed the 1st place host in an earlier race .. just for him to quit the gamewhat a considerate guy he was also

Special mention goes to GTP_Timppaq. He seems to be carrying on the Flying Finn tradition of Hakkinen and Raikkonen. He can fairly make his Clio go, and he was host too, so you knew he just wasn't going to quit on you for no reason. 👍
It seems to have been one of those nights. It got off to a great start, and I was racing with quite a few GTP-ers. Magburner, 2fast4stig, bluedot, Crooky, Sjaak all made an appearance *.

Also Superwally in his (very well driven) F40. I spent a few corners just driving behind, not looking to pass, just drooling at how gorgeous the F40 is...
But, latterly, I've just being getting battered into the gravel by idiots. 👎
* Apologies to anyone I missed.
I asked Fyshokid if i could make a website for the schedule and he agreed, so here is a test version with the current race schedule.
http://dhost.info/gt5pmeeting/
It lists all the events in your local timezone and also states which event is taking place, and which is the next event.
The layout isn't much yet because this is just a test version and i have to add a whole bunch of other things too.
I'm not sure if that website is working for me DustDriver, it doesn't display my time zone.

Why is it when you drive a little white Alfa 147 on PP700 Suzuka, that everybody wants to overtake you within the first 2 corners....Rammed, rammed, rammed...if Poly had implemented cardamage I would only have a chassis without bodywork.....![]()
I'll keep an eye out for ya next time I see you on trackYou could always try driving the Mini around london

To be honest, I know an Alfa, Mini, Swift, Brera doesn't stand a chance in the 700PP class when you are up against good drivers. But I would really like to drive those small classes on Professional mode a lot more often. They are nice to handle and can make racing very competitive. The cars are not that fast but need really decent driving to keep on the speed on a track like suzuka. Because of the smaller amount of power you really need to have skill to drive fast, thats what I like about it.
