Actually, from the images of the press release, both cars have the steering wheel on the left side. Could change in the future, I guess.

Also, I wouldn't give much thought about the position of the GT logo. In some images it's present on both sides, for both cars, while other times it is not. :boggled:

For example, here's another angle of the Opel, and there's no GT logo in sight:

that diffuser is a health hazard

This looks pretty cool for OPEL!

Another boxy hot hatch elctric thingy, to make a return to Gran Turismo, but the OG cars we need are these brutish triplets.

I'm a VX220 TURBO (Lotus Type 116) owner. I'd love for Vauxhall/Opel to make a come back in the Gran Turismo series (along with its Lotus siblings especially the Elise/Exige) and make it write by it this time - In Gran Turismo 5 and 6 they got the weight wrong --> 1005kg instead of 930kg (Mine bone stock touring edition weighed 920ish kg with full tank, soft top on, not the hardtop). It was pretty unfair for the VXT since its main rival - the Lotus Elise 111R received the weight of the car dry - 860kg whereas its true Touring pack (with aircon) weight is around 900-910kg. I also hated the fact that Forza got everything right because I couldn't stand Forza :banghead:

🤣 that’s gold ! Not popping on you I love gt planet just some of the update decisions from polyphony are a bit odd. So many great cars and tracks need a return from past GT games. Let’s hope with vision cars there past race cars will make a return. Also don’t blame me someone added the poo emoji sound and it cracks me up every time 💩 😂

Seeing that we already have in-game images, do you think there's a chance they'll be included in the August update, or is it more likely to see them in the next one?

Blank (JPN) is an absolute beast. Not only are they driving an unreleased car, they're doing a race with infinite laps. I need them to tell me their secrets!

That ain't no Vauxhall. Just bring back Holden / HSV
Of course, that would be ideal, but it seems they, including Ford Australia, have lost all interest in Australia.
So when I said I wanted the Monaro to be resurrected under the Vauxhall name, I meant it as a relatively realistic alternative.

I wouldn't even know where you'd go to license the UK import Monaro/Commodore models. They were a Vauxhall-specific import deal whilst under GM, who will own the Holden IP, but HSV might be linked to TWR in some way too, and Vauxhall now being under Stellantis is sure to cause all sorts of grief.

At this point I'd accept a Opel/Chevrolet Corsa/Chevy.

Dear god.

am i the only one thinking that the VGT looks a lot like the Renault R5 Turbo 3e? excited to drive it just for that reason!

If I'm honest, High Speed Ring looks pretty good currently.
It's not a dig at High Speed Ring - it looks fantastic.

I just don't want copy and paste circuits. I'll take impressive visuals over nostalgia any day - especially as a VR user.
