Yeah he couldn't actually see the guy he was shooting at. The m21's reticule blocked his view because he had to aim so far above the guy. It's a shame you can't actually adjust the zero on the scope.
It would be nice, but it's not important, the missions never require hardcore sniping, and you're usually safe from most enemies over a few hundred metres.
