I use the hood view, from what i know most people use that or the normal view

Normal (Bumper), I feel more connected to the car in this view. The mirror, map and proximity markers help ensure I'm clean in traffic.

Usually I'm very sim oriented: cockpit view, no info whatsoever. But for this championship I chose hood cam (?) and display times, list of drivers and the whole map to be aware of what is going on during the race.

I use normal but only for this championship, otherwise as sim as possible with cockpit view. I must confess that normal view gives easier apex hitting. I don't use proximity markers.

Normal view (bumper cam) when racing for real and finding a proper setup for a car and of course map and list of drivers.

Offline and playing with friends I try to play as real as possible, inside view, w/ and w/o info (depends on the rooms) and with clutch if a car uses it too.

I use 3rd person. If I had 3 monitors I'd probably use cockpit but with only one you can't see anything and I find most people that use cockpit are the ones that turn into you and say it's your fault and you dive bombed them.
