Well, I have several "comments" after 1h30 of whatever you can call but not racing

1/ can people show up ON TIME ?! (independently of internet issues like tonight)
2/ is the "club lobby" really a good solution? I never experienced such a mess in "friends lobby only"
3/ can people read the ****** rules about starting times, tires, grid order...
Everybody WAS on time, but obviously majority was having lobby connection issues... including AM and from what I briefly read QP4 for GTPES also was a sham...

EDIT: in terms of speaking of rules, you might be referring to me missing the start due to changing to HARDS last minute for the Quali... due to all the drama and trying to make sure everybody could join SINCE everybody was actually present, I was flustered and forgot to double check my car's settings. Quali grid order got messed up by the game and in my confusion I had actually forgotten where I Qualified...

I can't speak for club lobby being the best option, I've never seen it that bad either...

Yeah sorry about the grid order thing, I just had to check the rules again as I forgot. Didn't expect to be hosting...

Should the AM points be halved, given the troubles tonight?

Not your fault, and not anybody's fault. Tried to make it fair by having everybody try and join the 3rd room, which worked out but obviously a bit hard when other people had to host the lobby and settings were slightly overlooked..

We will discuss what will happen with points and what not with results, I'm sure it'll be worked out so people weren't ripped off with unfortunately quite a mess of a day/night.

I am so so sorry for all the AM competitors...

You kept me on my toes in Race 2. As well as @BAZZER. :)

Guys, this race might be my last...
There is nothing I can do with this BMW. And when I see my teammate, I'm not the only one having difficulties with the car

Guys this race could be my last for this season because i have a bit problems in high school and i think they will reflect badly on PS3 life...

To Am Drivers
I want to sincerely apologize to the all the AM drivers. Nothing tonight did not go according to plan. Never had any issues like this with the lobby. This was a circus tonight. Had 3 different lobby host and all lobbies were unstable. TNT and I couldn't see drivers on track (so couldn't check people's specs) and people couldn't join Pubs when he was host. I am so sorry for this inconvenience.

Urrrrr! I shuld have had that podium! Dam you gab! I really wanted that podium! Bloody idot pressed the downshift button instead of the look back button!! URRRRRRR!
Sorry for the little bumps before I passed you, was fun hunting you down though, the Vette had absolutely nothing left in it, still half a second off the fastest times though. :(

Don't worry its cool! I'm more pissed about my lack of podim finnishes! :banghead:

Try running fixed host next time, it might be a pain if the whole room DC's, but if the race is being recorded, the running order can be taken from that, and the race restarted. I would rather we lose 10 minutes in the middle of the race, than 45 before its started.

The night was a complete shambles. From the start off the room wouldn't work, no problem just open a new one and go again. This didn't happen in a timely manner and by the time we all got in a room everyone couldn't see everyone. People didn't seem to care about this and were saying go, start, get on with it ffs. Very unprofessional of some and no real authority from the organiser/organisers of the room.

So qualifying starts and no issues really, except we start and people aren't in the correct grid positions. Did we stop, did we hear any directions from the organisers? Nope not a word. I qualified 2nd and started the race 8th, some people got on the chat box but i wasn't going to complain as i would of been even further down the grid. A grid which should of been stopped and shouldn't be counted in the points.

All of this happening and people angry/annoyed at the whole night so far turned the race into demolition derby. So many animals on the grid tonight it was unreal. Massive dive bombing, plenty of touching in corners and using other people as brakes (rear ending). I got hit numerous times, my neighbours must of heard me swearing at some of you guys.

As for the main race, the start was bad. Who ever was behind me got a massive start and was pretty much overtaking me on the line. I went on the defensive trying to squeeze him and the someone hit me from behind, i hit someone else, there was a mess behind me also and i had to finish the whole stint one with broken suspension on the front. Throughout the race i was getting rammed from behind which was very frustrating for a heavy damage series. And the icing on the cake was 3 of us dc'd at the same time leaving 9 runners.

Overall it was a joke and some people need to learn how to drive or go to a touring car series as this is what it felt like tonight. Nobody can really complain about the servers as its not under our control. What really disappointed me was the attitude and driving standards of certain people on the grid.

Tensions were high for everyone tonight due to the connection issues. According to the rules we do not use chat during the race. Saw the grid order was skewed before I can say anything the lobby crashed. Plus, after qualifying and I saw the quali results people were missing from the grid order on the sheet.

I was not referring to you specifically pubes, in fact I didn't notice all that about you , and I know that servers issues are no one's fault.

Regarding the times rules are:
19.15 ➤ Reg Checks
19:20 ➤ Qualifying begins
19:30 ➤ Sprint Race Starts
This has never been followed even in pre-season, sorry.

Regarding other rules like grid order, how can someone had ask if it's reverse from sprint race???? I'm not a steward here, but wow

I know it's just a game, but people are doing serious work to make this series great. cheers to them, must be tough to manage us all

The problem was how can you follow a schedule when the lobbies were running crazy? I couldn't do specs check cause it wouldn't show the specs of people's cars cause it show people in the lobby but not on track. When I asked people to go on track they said they were but the lobby on my screen said they weren't so I was completely blind on checking specs.

Sorry about tonight, yeah the servers were something we couldn't help with, but the driving was.

It was disappointing to see the first corner contacts as we did warn each other before the first race started. I think people just need to calm down and realise it's not a 3 lap race, there are plenty of opportunities to overtake if you're fast enough.

Drivers need to realize that there is no need to be aggressive. Cause you will be penalize for you race conduct. Also, if you want to avoid contact with other drivers into turn one drivers are allowed to use the run off area to avoid contact. As long as you rejoin safety.

Final 25 minutes of the PRO stream! Grab some popcorn and sit back, it's pretty epic. :)

So club rooms don't solve anything when it's network problems.
Yeah PD servers were a very large issue this weekend, If you pass by GTP ES, they had the same issues, QP4 was stopped twice due to AJ disconnecting from the lobby. Can't do anything about that sadly

Today's races were a complete madness... I hope Polyphony Digital solve this cause this is nothing :indiff:
Now, I want to thank the red Mercedes SLS for ruining my Endurance Race right at the first corner and one of the BMW's when I was trying to catch the pack after one non schedule pit stop as well
But most important, I want to apologize @RodeRuner1967 for hitting him when he spun at second corner on the last lap. I was driving too close and when his rear left tyre touched that slippery piece of track I just couldn't avoid contact. He told me I made contact right in the braking zone but I didn't noticed... I don't know if there was some lag but I really tried to be cautious in the aproach.
I know the Stewards were a little stressed due to conections problems, but this is something that none of us can control... I know that all of you are doing your best.
Keep going and focus on Round 2 ;)
