Hi! I want the Tires to include PP because its handling. They get bonus PP the better tires they get the higher PP it gets like Sports gets a little and Racing gets a little lot. The Dirt ad Snow, they get little tiny.

Doesn't matter though. Online you can limit what tires people use and the same in seasonals etc. Also it would be incredibly hard to calculate what cars are "evenly" matched while factoring in tires. For example what's faster, a fiat 500 with racing soft or a ford gt40 with comfort hards? Go try it and let me know.

Once we had a system like this in GT5, I can't remember the version number though.
It was pre spec 2 if I remember right.

Its too late in the game to do something like this. Online has been the same for way too long. You can't introduce such a drastic change. Its akin to Mcdonalds ceasing to serve the Big Mac.

I mean look at how the PP system was changed for some cars. It was not received well. We have been set in our ways

Tires in the PP equation kept me in the amatuer (London,Susuka East,Eiger) 3 lap races all through GT5p.

I am glad they took tires out of it.

Gotta have me some grip!:D:tup:

I prefer not having tyres as part of the PP calculation, as it opens up more possibilities that way. When tyres were part of the PP calculation in GT5 Prologue, everyone pretty much ended up on the same tyres & it got boring. At least with tyres being chosen seperately in GT5, we can have many more PP & tyre combos to enjoy.

👍

I think it's better to keep the tyres separate from the PP model. The more parameters you throw into the calculation, the less precise it's going to be.

Are there any benefits from including the tyres in the PP calculation?
