Hi people, I have a few questions about it, can someone tell me difference between PAL and NTSC, what are their resolutions in 4:3 and 16:9 and what for they are? Thanks!
The difference between the 2 without being technical is region, basically what region of the world you live in.
Your from Croatia so that means you would normally use the PAL format. Look at your DVD's and they should be in the PAL format.
I say normally because I live in the USA which uses the NTSC format but with the PS3 and an HDMI cable I can also use the PAL disc for GT5p.
People do this and have the capability to race anyone using the same discs.
Meaning I can race you online if we use the same discs.
This is only partial information but should answer your question on the difference between the PAL and NTSC formats.
Resolution and the 4:3 / 16:9 has more to do with your TV.
A high definition TV will (in most sizes) provide 1080p resolution.
A wide screen TV will provide the 16:9 capability to fill the screen correctly.
A normal (square) TV uses 4:3.
