I read that Paninfarina is a manufacturer... They design some of the hottest cars I ever seen. I even think they design for Ferrari and Lamborghini  Correct me if I'm wrong!
How cool it would be to have their cars on GT4

AFAIK Pininfarina is just a styling house - these days only for Ferrari. They may have released a limited-run car sometime in their history, but I don't recall there being one.

Yes Pininfarina designs the Fiat Coupe (and many other cars too)
like this beautiful 406 Coupe...

It IS true they designed both those cars - and many other non-Ferraris. Although the FIAT died 3 years ago. I don't remember them doing anything but Ferrari in the last few years - and I certainly don't remember any Pininfarina-made cars.

That said, my useful book appears to be somewhere else right now, so I can't check... :(

yep, they did design these cars, and the alfa romeo brera for example. But when you're on a GT forum and you're asking questions like that...................you should almost say that you know much about cars...........................................................
at least that's my opinion, ofcourse you don't have to be ashamed of that.

this is a locomotive by Pininfarina

I don't know why i'm posting this.. but here it is :odd:

Why wasn't the Peugeot 406 Coupe in GT3, it was in GT2 but , I hope it is in GT4 or that will suck!

The Fiat Coupe was designed by Chris Bangle, who is now with BMW and responsiable for the Z-4, X-5, new 5 and 7 series and the forthcoming 6 series.

Did't think he was working for Pinifarina at the times. I thought (may be wrong) that Pinifarina designed the Coupe concept, but the final styling for it was done inhouse (at Fiat) by Chris Bangle.

Those of you in the UK may still be able to pick up a copy of last weeks Autocar that had a big piece on Chris Bangle and his designs; including the Fiat Coupe and the current BMW range.

Thanks Dirkiyo
I found out late, I'm from the caribean, Puerto Rico to be exact and I can write my english bad and is almost my 2nd language. Imagine European ones, on top of that the name is kind of odd. I just get carry away when I want to express my ideas to the people, I just want to be the first to bring stuff up, and sadly pay little attention to spelling:lol:
But thank you all for replying to my posts.

Surely if this 'P' company does Ferrari 'enhancements' (haven't seen any & I'm too lazy to search as I need to sleep)

Can't they do an RUF? Stick ferraris in the game under the 'P' name assuming theres no licensing difficulties with that.

/Fears the ferraris have been F'n'F'd

They don't do enhancements. They design the car... Like Bertone designed the Lancia Stratos and Astra Coupe, Pininfarina designed the Ferrari 456M and Peugeot 406 Coupe.

Ah I thought you meant they redesigned some Ferrari parts or something & completely designed others like the Fiat Coupe.

Nooo the words Stratos & Astra in the same sentence!! :(

Giugiaro - an Italian designer whose first name escapes me - penned the Daewoo Matiz, below. It was originally pitched to another company - Suzuki or Toyota I think - but they didn't want anything to do with it; Daewoo did.

Yes, but Giugiaro is italian, not "Ferrari". Among many other beauties the Esprit was designed by him and recently he redesigned the AR 156.
Famine, I dont know how many cars Pinifarina has made with his own name (I mean appart from designing cars for others). But I do know that in the last Geneva show he presented a roadster based on the Elise platform--anyway most of his creations are probably one off concepts that ends up in Saudi Arabia

All other Daewoos are presumably designed in-house, the only one with a story is the Matiz - I'm 99.999% sure it's the one he's referring to.

Interesting I didn't know about the Matiz, but this is the actual car I was referring to :)

The Daewoo Espero.

I remember once reading the British Motorshow guide & there was an advert for this car, & on the back bumper there was a sticker 'My other car is a Ferrari' & in the text @ the bottom it mentioned how some bloke from Ferrari? designed the car.

I've never heard of the thing, though if it's an M-plate it makes sense; I didn't really get in to British cars until late 1999 and Daewoo didn't come to the US until 2000, and never with the Espero.
