Patch 1.09 Wishlist

Remove the level system entirely. Use the license tests as a requirement for each level of racing (ie license B for beginner and work up from there)
 
Have we got an ETA for this patch?

I imagine it will be a while with what is going on in Japan at the moment.

The main thing that I want is having global/regional leaderboards for hot laps. Exactly what was in GT5 Prologue. Still have no idea why this wasn't in the game to start with.
 
I think if they brought back the test track and a real drag strip with burnouts, I'd start playing GT5 again. Add a few more tracks and I'd be really happy. Oh, and make this absurd "track editor" into a "track creator" with a 10 mile range and point to point races... I will be hooked for a very long time.
 
- Drag race tracks and events
- Spa 24h
- Ability to change rims on standards, if not, more rims for premiums
- Livery editor too hard? then at least to be able to add subtle racing stripes
- For the love of all that is mighty FIX the texture on the F10 wheels for the Green line option tire thread and Potenza logo, the thing is so pixelated it still looks horrible in motion at full speed
- An option to choose between the new car animation or just a confirm window, I'm at the process of buying all the cars in the game and the song, time and stupid animation is driving me mad, I have to mute the TV and just mindlessly click X
- Also, when you buy a car, stay at the dealership, not go to the main menu

Amen to that. I'd also love to be able to select multiple cars to buy in one pass.

You know, the world keeps turning, a bit faster even after the quake, but does every topic need this kind of post? We all know what happened, we all think of the Japanese people, we don't ask for the update right now, we just want to add our wishes to the list, so that when the update comes, we can be suprised, or dissapointed.

There is an earthquake topic somewhere else on this forum.

They should add an championship with restrictions to the Seasonal events. With a nice pay out.

The obvious championship/endurance saves and the being chucked back to the main menu after buying a car from the UCD, etc.

I just want to be able to set up a 'realistic' motorsport championship in custom or arcade mode tbh. Somewhere where I can pick circuits, opponents, etc...

An unlikely wish would also be to then up or down the AI ability on a %age system like rFactor so you can find your true level.

I have all golds on vettel. But like i said i am still pretty pissed about the times. Those times are just plain bs. I know japan is going through some hard times. But please PD change those times. Give the other players a chance.

2.08.000 - to - 2.09.000 or 2.10.000
Monza does not need changes due to the cheat chicane. (This shows GT5 was not entirely tested. so the times should be changed)
2.10.000 - to - 2.11.00 or 2.12.000

thats all. just 1 second.

What makes me sick is that offices of the PD are closed servers there are switched off to safe power in tokyo and people are still asking and crying for updates and wishlists for there game !!

People what is wrong with u sony and pd are japanese companies there is a human disaster goiing on in japan even a nucliar disaster isn't it time to shut the hell up and go and shame urself
 
premium dakar cars
more rm and cars
and a few more world tracks
and better ai
improved tunning details like amount of boost and turbo lag as my scooby has non nor does the evo oh and
1/4 mile track
improved track creator
better sound
better photo options such as door opening and being able to see drivers get in and out of cars
oh and on the endurance races the ability to swap between bspec and aspec

its not a long list but i think it could improve the game with a couple of these suggestions

we said the next update now i don't think people mind waiting as japan is in a bit of a sticky situation at the moment
 
if not . then save option between any race,licence,event, or endurance.
Paint store.
be able to view others saved replays.
an orgainzer of cars. Like Ford category. Nissan. Toyota, and so on. i get pissed sometimes cause i cant find a specific car.

Have the decency to wait until PD them selves update again for gods sake what a buch of ignorant people here asking for wishes when people in japan are suffering and dying

I'm with you about those who can not bring up the patience and decency waiting for the update, but we can still go on with the purpose of this website couldn't we??

Or should we just pull the plug on the whole internet thingy, because something bad happened??

Maybe we had to do that sooner, when Egypt fell in to riots, and then the whole Middle east followed??

Thats the spirit we cannot do a thing about it lets forget about it and ignore it and go on and ask more for our idiot wishlist maybe PD can update by using candles as energy

Andbody else want's to take it from here? I'm close to reporting this. It gets annoying.
 
This wishlist is to help PD, rather than bitching at them for not sending out updates. I don't quite understand what your argument is - like others have said almost everyone in here's intention is to give PD suggestions, not moan about where the patch is after the earthquake. This is the Patch 1.09 Wishlist Thread after all. And not everyone has the ability to help them out - I live on the other side of the world after all.

But if you want to discuss the Japanese events talk about it in the appropiate thread linked below - your opinion will be more free in there.

On topic, I would like to see this new gitch removed. If it's anything like the last one I doubt it'll take much to fix. :)

I don't know what to say, people around the world suffer every sedond of everyday(6 billion people on this planet). The facts of life, yet the world still revolves...how is that??? "gosh" i am shocked! The japanese people afe very unfortunate, but that is not gonna stop people speaking there mind, on what they would like to have implemented in this game.
 
- i want to see Point to Point tracks in the Editor and the possibility to choice the height-differences for each sector!

- The distance and the current Mileage of the cars should be visible in the races

- a new Test-Section where you can test your cars on the 1/4 Mile or the acceleration from 0-100kmph.

- New tracks ( Midfield, El Captain, Test Course etc.. :( )

- New Events in the A and B-Spec mode. ( 100 Laps Tokyo for example for the endurance Races )

- Self-Made Races ( The more difficult the more money and Exp you should get; I Think that would make a lot of fun to test out the best way to get much Exp :) ); Maybe as C-Spec mode? :D

- Better looking Standard Cars

- More RM-Cars

- Cars from Koenigsegg!

- Save Function for Endurance Races


there are many things i would love to see in GT :)

Yes exactly, this is not a "moaning" thread, but rather a wishlist.

On the subject of "point 2 point" i wish to to be able to make your own tracks, like i use adobe illustrator, make the track making like using vectors in adobe.
