Patch 1.09 Wishlist

My wishlist:

Cars...I'd almost give a kidney for 1962 Ferrari 250 GTO or Aston Martin DB4 GT Zagato.

Game feature...Saving in Endurance events and fast forward in B-Spec.

Tracks...Mount Panorama - Bathurst, Australia
 
I'd like to be able to earn credits & exp points by doing the single make races in Practice Mode, that would sure extend the offline racing experience somewhat don't you think!

Endurance race game saves. I WILL NOT run a 24 hour A-Spec race until then. I WILL NOT leave my ps3 on for 2 weeks straight while I work, sleep and maintain my life.

- The ability to change the rims on standard cars, and perhaps add 'Used Rims' like on GT4. Mainly the changable rims on standards though.

I want for the premium (used rims)!!!!I wouldn't mind installing LFA's rim to IS-F or M5's to the M3

Hope the next patch will finally add a save option in endurance. If not I'll do my own GT5. With blackjack. and hookers.

-Seeing my car getting dirtier as the races go on.
-Better sounding cars
-Better customization for all cars. A color wheel, different rim sizes, more choices for body parts and spoilers.
-Randomized weather for tracks.
-Getting more cr. for races, since we have to "Grind" more.
-Brakes back in the tuning section.
-More Aero kits
-Better UCD, maybe exactly like the NCD.
-Save during Endurance Races (Main reason why I only done one)
-Better damage that affects how the car drives.
-More Premium Cars and less Standard.
 
Add cockpit view ONLY checkbox for online racing. Of course you could only use Premium cars but I feel if you don't use the cockpit view then it's like racing with AIDS on. I know many racers, myself one of them, that never have any AIDS on except for ABS. When it's raining and the rain hits your windshield with wipers on it makes it more difficult and realistic. Maybe even more difficult then the track being soaked and slick... but isn't that the point? If you use any of the other silly arcade views then there is no reason for wipers and the rain experience is a wash and you are basically cheating (I know, I know.. can't really help it with so many Standard cars). COCKPIT VIEW ONLY PLEASE and make 700 of the useless cars on GT5 Standard and the rest of the 300+ bad boys Premium.
 
Start auctions with very rare cars that could only be bought there. Ex: 250 GTO.
Change the settings of the car while on the go, like the downforce or traction control etc...
Add more cars we would like to drive, as Porsches and Ferrari 250 GTO.

Please PD! Please allow us to put rims on our standard cars. If u have to import them from past GTs just like u did with the cars then be my guest. I am tired of racing a race car that looks stock. Add more rims for premium cars too. The scarce selection really does not have much good looking rims.

Many of us have been begging for drag racing for YEARS now. I doubt we will get it but it is better than not sayin anything about it.

I would also be fine if they allowed us to swap rims with other standard cars. Then they would have no importing to do.
 
1. Few more features to the track creator. The banking option is good.
Maybe to add trackside objects for braking refs etc. and pits.

2.Event creator to pick which cars to race and AI skill level slider.
 
How about sort out the Shuffle race bug that freezes your game if you join the server mid race...I mean its only been there since the game came out and 7 patches have gone by without a thing been done and its not like resetting my PS3 all the time is that big a deal :dunce:
 
Wheels for standard cars! Wheels for standard cars!

Above all else, I want to be able to change the wheels on my standard cars! C'mon PD, you've got a lot of them modeled already. It doesn't matter if they're not PS3-quality; a lot of the standard cars aren't. I just want to be able to swap out my wheels if I don't like the ones that come with the car.

And then after that, the option to customize the pre-race background music like the rest of the game. Even for the people that like the ridiculous baby song, listening to only TWO tracks is going to become boring and repetitive.
 
- Windshield, windows, headlights, rear light that breaks upon impact and loss of lighting
- For the love of God, fix the F10 tire texture!! the Potenza logo and green option tire line is so blurry it looks horrible even in motion
- Ability to switch views when pitting, not just a locked camera view
- 24h Spa!

More Rims for premium and STANDARD

Instead of the whole paintchip system where you can only use a colour once, make it so that new colours are added to a palette of all your colours that can be used as many times as you desire...

Agreed.

These are my only gripes about GT5.
 
1.Shop for paints
2.better view from cockpit
3.More Aero parts
3.you got more money from races
4.full support for g25/g27
5.you can watch up/down with playstation eye (can you already. I can't)
 
Access to the "Tuning Shop", "Car Maintenance and Service" and "Items" from within any menu or at least the "Garage", so you don't have exit out of the A-Spec/B-Spec Events to reach them. Also access to the Garage from within the Tuning Shop and Maintenance areas.

This would save me a ton of time and menu navigation when I want to make a quick upgrade purchase (Tuning Shop) or installation from parts I already own (Items). I would even like to be able to jump straight from the Event menus to the NCD, UCD and OLUCD to buy a car for the event I'm trying to enter.

As far as I can tell, this could be one of the easier things to implement because there's no AI to code. Just menus and return pointers in the code.

That's what I'd like... in addition to everything everyone else has asked for.

Fix the online bugs. About once in a hour the game just freezes during loading. And sometimes it takes ages for the loading to finish.

And add car groups already! So the server owners can just pick a car group like superGT, nascar, lemans protoype, not racecar, electric car or whatever so you don't need to manually check and tell every driver not to use other cars.
