Patch 1.09 Wishlist

It would be common sense to have the time scale slider read percentages instead of the arbitary 1-60 we have at the moment, that way it would be easier to set it up to cycle appropriately with how many laps you set the race to. For instance, setting it to 10% would do a full day cycle in 2 hours & 24 minutes, perfect for a Le Mans 2.4 hour online race!

Get rid of the spectator sfx. It's frustrating as hell when you crash and you hear the crowd applauding.

Ability to turn off HUD except for the instruments.

Implement tuning during Pit Stop.

Add Showroom (from the garage) to Photo Mode.
 
I want to have CF body panels modification like the one they already had with the hood...and some new cars and Brakes

I was being sarcastic, but think about it...

Some people abused car gifting, PD made car gifting useless!
Some people use rubberband grinding, will PD drop A-Spec?

In other words instead of fixing the problem PD always makes the worst decisions, that's why GT5 was a mess when it was released and it's getting worse... 👎

People are duping cars?
Don't ban gifting! Increase the prize money. Allow us to win prize cars again or win one of our A-Spec opponents cars. Allow us to sell expensive cars. Unlock all cars in arcade mode!

But I find funny that all the GT5 elitists were so enraged about car duping yet they find rubberband grinding totally acceptable. Of course if some people are enjoying with rubberband grinding I have no problem, keep on doing it and have fun! It's your game! 👍

But the fact that rubberband grinding is even possible proves beyond any doubt that GT5 isn't a simulation but a very rough approximation of driving mechanics that sometimes is convincing. The damage modelling and the collision physics in GT5 are laughable non-existant.... But No.... PD doesn't fix that! Instead they care about the important things which is to ban car gifting! 👎:dunce:

I totally agree with you they always making the worst decisions, but also b-spec is also being abused isn't it? people leaving the ps3s during they are sleeping.. so they shouldn't allow that (: so they have to don't let us play the game because we are bad people :D
 
Well since I now own at least one example of each Premium car I'd say it's about time to bring a few of the promised Premium-versions of Standard models, free of charge ofcourse.
It's now more than 3 months since release and with the 3 or so updates/patches we now received the basics of the game are almost what they should've been from the start, so maybe now is the time to increase the amount of actual content, more Premium cars (Kaz stated these would be limited to classics only, no new additions) and hopefully some new tracks as well to retain GT5's momentum.
By which I mean bring back some of the GT4 tracks now painfully missing, El Capitan, Seattle, Citta di Aria (which I really liked), Grand Canyon, Midfield, etc. and the missing real life tracks Infineon and Twin Ring Motegi.
Maybe they weren't up to GT5's standard but then again that standard didn't prove to be that high in the first place......
 
First thing in 1.09 I want.
That G'damn Garage that teases me in the main menu unlocked as a photo travel location.
That's it.

Yes!

And the tyre smoke pixellations
And the AI which drive with no intelligence
And the constant sifting through menus
And the loading times
And the lack of variety for modifications (tyre size,brakes)
And the overall XP and cash earnings (but then again theres seasonal events)
And the fact the Audi R8 V10 says V8 FSI and has the V8's headlights
And the grey,dour look of the Murcielago LP640's interior
And the fact I can see my driver through the Lotus carlton's door pillars

A proper marketplace would be nice too but not necessary.Just my opinion.
 
Hopefully we get those Standard to Premium conversions that we are meant to be getting.

Standing starts at Top Gear (with free Suzuki Liana or Chevrolet Lacetti or Kia C'eed)

2 tone colours on cars (like Veyrons with 2 colours on 1 car)

I'd like prize cars everytime we complete a championship, and different ones too that we can sell. That way people will race more in a spec to gain cash. Rather than exploiting glitches. Kinda like the old GT.

More rims will be great as well, like someone here mentioned. Even bringing adopted 3d models from older GT is fine for non premium cars, even better if upgraded for premium cars as well.

Oh and allow us to sell high end cars and get money please. It's kinda weird to just get an option to get rid of the car.

Also I think the Aspec combination with Bspec racing for endurances will be good.
I used to do that for the older GT, since it's impossible for 1 person to drive 24 hrs anyways.

If they cannot get the recordings, atleast re-use some of the existing V12 sounds:dunce:
 
Brake upgrades, tyre width upgrades, more wheel options, adjustable caster angle and torque in lb/ft for UK players :grumpy:

Might as well simply call this thread 'NEXT Patch Wishlist' because next to nothing is EVER done that we want...

Just a bunch of 🤬 that no-one (or damn few) have ever mentioned.

I believe that is the very reason why cars are so hard to roll over with wild maneuvers by using the handbrake. When the car absolute speed drops below 5 Km/h (in GT5 it's a sort of "GPS speed", tire grip magically gets reduced noticeably. In real life, even with street tires it's very easy to lift one or more wheels by doing so, especially on small cars (look at my avatar).

In the game this also causes problems when starting from even slight slopes.

The GT5 tire model is far from perfect.
And so are other aspects of the physics engine praised for being "the most realistic ever".

This is going to go on forever...

As with GT5 original release, 1.05, 1.06, 1.07, 1.08 and now 1.09. Fix the AI (and collision sounds). Then add qualifying and real world tracks. That's it.

I don't think there's any point even wishing anymore
