Please someone provide the typical directory location.
Somewhere under "Program Files" or "Program Files (x86)" (depending on wether you installed 32 or 64 bit). Under installed programs it should also list where you installed it. Searching for it using the Explorer should also reveal it.

Using G27 with PC version. My pedals will not work. My steering works fine. Also, I can not find the Logitech Profiler software to download. I have a feeling I need that in order to prep the wheel for the game.
I am running windows 8. Hopefully I'm in the right thread to ask this question.

Got the profiler running had tried installing 32 bit, when needed 64 bit.

Now just need the time to get everything configured the way I want it.

At one point accidently had turning the wheel right make the car go left etc....talk about WTF moment.

I go to Logitech site and download the 64bit for windows 8.1 (I do have WIN 8.1) and the install will not work.
I was able to download the LGS app. When it comes up it does not detect any Logitech devices.

My wheel works fine on my PS3, And I remember using the profiler software on my Windows 7 computer.
I am using USB 2.0 ports on my HP. Just not sure what else to do. No matter what software I download, it does not see my G27. And it does not show as a windows device with I plug in the USB to my computer.

I guess I will keep looking on the net for windows8 USB drivers for G27 and the Profiler software too.

Yeah its kind of confusing as i believe logitech has 2 different device managers for download. 1 of them is not for the g27.

I found this one on a google search and it works. Also make sure you are using a usb 2.0 slot

Thank you Brainhulk.

I think I've already used the link you game me. But I will try it again just because.
I think part of my problem is my PC will not see the G27 and display it as a device when I plug it into the USB 2.0 port.

I have to figure out a way to install the driver so my PC will see the wheel when I plug it in.
I am going to try this link too. I found it a few minutes ago. Hopefully it will help someone even if it does not help me.
And thank you again for taking the time to help.

In theory, you shouldn't need anything really, the wheel should even work fine without the Logitech Gaming software, in any game. At the very least, it should show up in the device manager after you plug it in. Just to be clear, you plugged in both power and USB cord to the wheel? Do other devices work on the same port? Have you tried a different port?
