Speaking of Rolls-Royce. Can I have a Phantom, a Silver Shadow, a Silver Dawn and a chauffeur's outfit for Bob to wear as he ferries me between Edinburgh and London in the game please?

That would actually be pretty cool if they added a rolls or a bentley in the game. Continental gt, phantom would be awesome

No, thats a discount. Once you take possession of a house, do the construction firm turn back up a year later and say "We are just going to add this conservatory, free of charge"?

funding development is more valuable than paying for something semi-ready(gt5)/ready. If you want to develop and don´t have the money, what do you do?
AND IT´S NOT LIKE PD IS A SMALL, FIRST TIME CAR GAME MAKER.
The aventador, as soon as it was in the market it was in gt5, the mp4-12c likewise THEY HAVE WHAT IT TAKES TO GET A CAR FROM SCRATCH TO THE GAME IN A HEARTBEAT!
also a cool thing pd could do is buy 3-4 dlc´s, get the 4-5th free.
for 10% of what a regular person paid in this game i wish there was a 10% increase in content.
We get 10 real tracks AND get charged 3.99 for a speed ring. EVEN SMALL SIMS HAVE MORE TRACKS THAN THAT.
looking at the dealership you don´t see a single evolutionary line . mitsubishi, should have the eclipse, 3000gt and many more as premiums, even brands they favour like nissan and toyota. no supra, no links between past and present. No sense of history.

PD can do a lot of things. Doesn't mean they have to just because you say so.

If you enjoy Shift 2 so much and believe it's 99 cents DLC car is cheaper than GT5's 99 cents DLC car, why don't you just make the switch and stop complaining.

I am sure you won't be missed.

Be productive, work an extra hour at work, wash your dads car, do some chores etc etc and you will have the money. Job done. Stop whinging.

i earn much more than an average worker, not a money issue... rest assured.
I just don´t want this 1usd per car turns gt5 into the first game to surpass the 1000usd mark by the time they shut down their online server.

I dont see GT5 turning off there servers for a while or should i say Sony turning off there servers so your safe there. GT is too big a game to be doing anything rash like that.

Id like to see more classic cars in a DLC in the future. I like collecting all the old school cars.

Plus we need a new DLC every 2 weeks atleast.

I said when it closes, years from now. I don´t want to look back and have spent more than i did in my rig for the game.

Indeed they don't have the decency of making a real car pack . and 4 euros for 1 freaking track?

Both Shift 2 DLC's were superior to what PD did so far , there are already enough minis. gtr's and golfs on the game , the only decent cars on the DLC's was the Aventador and the Nissan Leaf ,Aston , Bettle , Prius in terms of adding actually new things to the game and the Spa track

And the lack of real tracks like Imola ,Catalunya . and the course editor is a ****ing farce for being so limited ( PD probably did this so we couldn't make real tracks or bring old tracks back to life so they can milk more money)

Content wise GT5 is a disappointment to me, and their DLC policy is making me considering not purchasing the next GT game if this continues

I am trying to follow this discussion but I still can't comprehend one thing:

Since when has any of the DLC become mandatory? Why should I (or you, or anyone) buy it if I don't want to? Who or what forces me?

I can freely vote with my wallet and decide will I spend my money or something. You can't? Anyone else can't? What is this, Conract with the Devil or simple rules of free market?

Don't get me wrong guys, but all this sounds very childlish argument-wise.

People just want things for free. PD/Sony is a business and they can charge whatever they want. I can promise you the folks at Sony know damn well what EA and Forza are charging for their DLC.

As Amar said, if you don't like the product, you think it's overpriced, or the competition is better, you DON'T have to buy it.

Buy whatever product you think is best. Companies cannot meet the demands of every single person simultaneously.

I just want more content to choose from from a company that can deliver a game with 1000 cars/10 real tracks in the first place. For instance, I have less percentage complete in gt2 than gt5. It was such a long game that after 5,6 years playing I still had some left. Actually the doable part I wish they did was simplify the track menus: choose the track, choose the layout/time and go.
Secondly to be able to choose cars from at least the practice screen.
And newly I also wish we could tune the cars at the track.
These 3 are super easy to do, "just" copy and paste the online screen to the practice room.

I race many games, buy almost every DLC and have gone beyond most and got me a wheel+rig (a little customized by now). I want the cake and eat it too.
What do you guys prefer? 10 cars 4 tracks for 10 bucks or 4 cars and 1 track for the same? They have those 25 hidden logos in the game. 25x10(releasing 1 by 1+ 4 cars at a time )= 250 bucks.... you can buy a csr wheel for instance.

This guy probably doesn't know what Codemasters did to the DLC of dirt 3, then he wouldn't complain about GT5 DLC

I don't think I am following very well. If a game starts with fewer cars than GT5 then adds more cars in a DLC pack for the same price per car as GT5, then it is better value because the game started with fewer cars?

So if GT5 launched with 100 cars then they charged us $50 for another 100 cars every month for 10 months ($0.50 a car!!) It would be awesome value because they are increasing the initial contents by 100%? Rather than just $60 for the game at the start?

At the rate it´s going, in 2 more DLC, we´ll have paid as much as the game for an adition of 4 tracks and no more than 20 cars? In gt6 the ecu tune is gonna cost over 100USD at this rate.... Are you guys fine with this, really? I didn´t buy any more cod´s because of this. Dirt and codemasters didn´t get my money either. I much rather spend on my real car.

Then don't buy it. You have went from asking for a theme pack to spouting nonsense.

You´re missing that most other games add lot´s of contents too and THIS upsets me more then the car selection. It´s not just about the cars, the tracks play a major role in a game for me. Even gt5 prologue and most gt´s before too had better features and a "few" more races.

Right.... But GT5 is NOT other games. You CHOSE to buy GT5 as it is. Nowhere in the GT5 manual does it say that you are entitled to DLC at a certain price. What's more, most of us weren't even expecting DLC at all! Welcome to the real world; not all companies operate the same way and PD doesn't owe us ANYTHING.

Stop being so damn childish and demanding. You already got the game for $20 less than those who bought it new and you got a bunch of free cars with it. Cheap jerk....

Do people who write like this actually expect PDI to listen?

People that write this generally don't read. Otherwise, an old DLC thread would have been restored to it's right an proper place.

Indeed.

We just got 6 cars for $6. EA, on the other hand, is offering seven cars for $7. How is that anymore reasonably priced than GT5's DLC? And nevermind that we already have some of those cars in the game. As for your second list...you should really look at GT5's first car pack.

If this is true then PD/Sony are doing what everyone else does with car packs and selling on a 1:1 ratio. OP do you not see this?

You will not behave in an abusive and/or hateful manner, and will not harass, threaten, nor attack any individual or any group.

You will not use profanity in the forums, nor link to content which contains offensive language without sufficient warning.

It's time members learn that GT5 is just a game. There is absolutely no need to get personal during a discussion. If you don't agree with someone then state your opinion or move on.

Au contraire.... ps3+ds3+g27+playseat+ gt5 collectors edition pre-bough (40-50 bucks more )+ all dlc´s VS ps3+ds3(?)+gt5+dlc(?).... who´s cheap?
And since a company chooses to do this like they did AND I PAID FOR IT, I am entitled to my opinion. This forum is not PD´s fanboys place only, is it?

It´s not the cars, it´s the extra content, they come with 2-4 tracks and 10+ multiple race events. I want more races offline, more events tailored for the cars I purchased via dlc.
