I don't agree, disrespectful "complaining" got the things we wanted.
I agree(to me), the more constructive way of assessing the needs, is what got what wanted. There was a time, people would say "oh PD doesn't listen to us" blah blah. Now.
I agree(to me), people use other peoples expectations as a means to belittle the game.
I don't agree, a track without weather, changes anything of the game related to being a driving sim. Thats like saying since there's a missing world track, it can't be touted as a driving sim(SURE WE WANT WEATHER ON ALL TRACKS,SURE WE WANT ALL TRACKS, ain't happening right now though).
I only defend when people put ignorant, uninformed, demeaning, belittling, disrespectful,(especially when it seems to be constant by randoms with no substance) comments of opinion.
I don't agree there's many variables into staying in this site, as you pretty much stated only 2 significant ones. Like I said, it doesn't make sense to be here, if someone is completely dissatisfied, and have nothing to do but complain. Now if they are dissatisfied, but have understanding that they are only a consumer, and stop feeling entitled to their want's, and try to bring positive productive discussions. Then Great. But if not, why be here a year later..
So agree with me.
...I don't get how we come to an impass yet you still want to argue. It's like solving differences but that's not good enough so you want the war to rage on. It's just silly to waste your energy on fighting, yet your mad that others are still here complaining, you're contradicting yourself. You think they should go away but you complain about them as if it will fix the problem like they think it will fix GT5 by complaining.
First part never said that being hateful and nasty got things fixed, but I'm sure Kaz saw it. However, he probably took the more humbling suggestions that weren't rude. Most of the hardcore fans loved GT5 before spec II and had nothing to complain about, so I don't see them as the reason why it was changed. That only leaves the people who actually complained full time respectfully. You seem to have a blurred line of people who complain respectfully to those that are disrespectful.
I would say the PD listening to us is more recent than an on going event from years back, so let's not get carried away.
Give examples of who has used whose expectations to belittle the game, cause you saying it at this point is simple heresay.
No it's not, if the game had said that they were going to have every world track but didn't you could make that argument, you made an extreme instead. In reality they said the game would have weather changes, they didn't say limited or even list that only a few tracks would when the game was being talked about before release. When a game has weather changes and time changes you expect to see it at all real world tracks that usually are affected by such things. When you buy into a real sim racer they tell you what you're getting, if PD did that instead of being the car salesman type then people wouldn't need to complain. If they did you could simply say well it's all there in writing what the game would have in it, if you expected more that's your fault. However, PD didn't tell us specifically the limits of these "great" features due to wanting us to buy into it.
If they put cars in the game but only let you pick one color would that seem realistic to you? So why is it realistic that Daytona doesn't have a night race or weather change? Also be realistic it's not just a driving sim it is advertised as a racing sim as well.
Also you haven't informed or enlightened me or anyone here with info that helps your argument, more so just opinions. So your reason for arguing...doesn't hold water.
Only two significant reasons for staying on this site is all I said? That is quite subjective those are all significant reasons I stay on the site, but you tout it like a fact. We may be consumers but when a game promises certain things from the start but you get the rest of it 11 months later...that's a problem, especially when it was be made for five years. You'll probably say people are bringing up the same talking points again, but did you ever stop to think that your argumentitive points just bring it back full circle. The fans here say those that complain are the problem and their side sees it so crystal clear. It's like going to a nice place to eat and they give you a menu, you order from it and it tells you everything you get, but what it doesn't tell you is you'll get your side dish an hour after you've paid...then what was the point of getting everything the menu said I would if they didn't fufill what they said they would from the get go.
