This story is linkbait and has been debunked multiple places... use the google

... And its like three weeks old. And it was basically a reprinted press release from the consumer electronics lobby that was printed as fact on a website that shall remain nameless (after all its linkbait right?), then plagiarized all over the internet during the following weekend. If you want to find frivolous extremest stunts check out code pink or the EDL. Code pink has just made enemies that are rich and powerful and thus are a lightning rod for usually untrue or misleading campaigns playing upon what people THINK they advocate but usually don't.

I seen that Penn & Teller video when it first came out. They have quite a few videos of that show (I'll call it bull crap on here) about many others social issues that are very eye opening, you should check them out.

What to do when you need desperate attention for your "organization"?

Criticize one of the most famous, best known video game characters of all time and one of the current best selling games of the season.

Hey guys do we care about people no but those animals.

As bad as the animal rights protesters trying to blockade a british port. (An act of war against your country realy will help the issue)

I read about this. I think what their thoughts on the mario game is worse. They believed the racoon outfit you wear was condoling "skinning animals and wearing fur skin coats".

Hmm

I like animals and they need protection - but some of those people are simply nuts.

The PETA's complaint is more stupid than blaming the dude who took the screenshot for using Windows Vista. I mean, its a part of a game, and since its rated mature, the consumer (should, unless their mothers purchased it for them) know that its kinda cruel.

Did PETA ever get angry over Rockstar's Red Dead Redemption... there was alot of hunting and skinning of animals in that game.
