Bud, you can't advertise your sites on GTPlanet, no matter how cool or not they may be. It's against the AUP.

This weeks comp car didn't inspire me so i did this one instead...

^^ Hey ill be the first to some cnc, first welcome to gtp, enjoy the stay, everyones real cool here.

so now, with the rectangular maquee tool you can add and remove from the selection as you may know, but you need to be careful around the side view mirros with it, you didnt get all of it unselected

Other than that remember zoom is your friend, also wheels in the back are really hard, you have to find some that look deeper.

Pretty nice work with the color change but where did you get those rims !?!? Looks like you stole them from my pic above... :grumpy: That's not allowed! You should always ask permission before taking anything from somebodys chop... On any other forum you would get banned or at least get an warning... Don't know how moderators on gtplanet will react on stealing? So never steal anything... if you wanted those rims all you needed to do was ask! I have never said no to anybody asking some parts from my cars... Usually they ask wheels...
But since you are new, i'm going to let you go... :dunce: But i would still like to see you doing those rims by yourself. It really is not that hard. I uploaded the original pic for you, so you can practise... http://koti.mbnet.fi/spide_r/Roskat/lexus.jpg

Sorry but didn't understand what you meant by "TR strakes" ? Would you like to explain? And i think it looks better with the nose... Without it looked too much like the original and i wanted it to look different... But i guess it's personal taste...

I know and i'm going to send it in as soon as i get my email workin again...
Thanks for the tip though...

Huh! This must be my longest post ever :dopey:

I thought I would try SpideRi's car and possibly enter it in that competition. Here is what I have done -

bb-contest26copyFina.jpg

I don't think I have anything from SpideRi's vehicle, but if I do, I am sorry. Please tell me if I have anything from his car because I will modify it.

lol yeah sorry for that spideri it was 230am and i was tired so completely forgot to ask or say they were ure wheels before putting it up.

oh and thanks forhte links very helpful. 👍

Well, i don't think you have, but you should know it yourself. And it's just not that you shouldn't take anything from my chops, it includes everybody... I don't think you would like to see somebody stealing your parts and then taking all the credit? I'm pretty sure that by asking you will get the original pic and if you would like it to look the same as where you saw it... then you can just look the chop and try to make the original look the same... + when you have done it yourself, you don't have to give credit to anybody and people will be more impressed of your work...

You should put real background on your chop. It would look so much better... It's in hard angle (i had to combine 3 backgrounds) but i think you'll find some background where it will fit perfectly... Then you could use this tutorial for the neons Astudios.org I think it is the best neon tut, even though i have never done neons :)

Their neon tutorial is better than I have ever seen. I didn't use your car is specific to take anything off of, but I did use a few source cars and I didn't want any of them to be the same vehicle. I know I need a new background, but it was getting late so I was going to add one later.

Well the car was made as an convertible... It looks good and pretty mad. But i don't understand what the orange part on the left window is? if it's an seat then what is the black part behind it? looks like an window... And you haven't done anything to the other side..
btw why are those mirrors so long even in the original? those look ugly...

I find it amazing how you know all of the source pictures that people used. How do you know that those seats came from a 350Z and they were already like that?
