lord those pics in that IGN thread look good. Are those in 1080i you think? the resolution and lack of jaggies appears far too good to be normal resolution...

Im sure theyre whatever the native resolution photomode is as Im sure they where just transfered via some USB storage device directly to a PC.


Anyway, How about the RS 200? Anyone? :irked:

Any chance of an *incredibly* kind person posting a photomode render of an Aston Martin Vanquish ('04)
Preferably front-on, in red, at Monaco - perhaps just coming out of the tunnel or going around the really tight hairpin a few corners before entering the tunnel.

That would make my day.

i could do it for u but.....how do u upload vids and pics from the ps2? sorry lame question i know but i've never tried.

p.s. the spoon integra DC2 looks awesome...either yellow or white... it sounds almost identical to footage from Best Motoring.

And yes i like the Spoon Integra Type R :p , one of my favourite. It's almost the same as Best Motoring, only GT4 forgot the wing.

As far as I know, you need some sort of USB 2.0 flash card reader, and a flash memory stick/card which you can make act like a small hard drive. The pair might run you 50 bucks or so, but if you have a digital camera with a flash memory card, the USB flash card readers are only like 10 or 15 bucks.

The pictures in photo mode are saved as JPEG images.

I could be wrong about the whole flash thing though.

Someone else said they had an external USB hard drive that worked with GT4.

Then you just switch the plug from the PS2 to your PC.

Can someone confirm/correct this flash card idea?

Yes it works with various USB (Not usb 2.0, well both but the old style ps2 is just USB 1.1) mass storage devices, although not all. Various USB memory keys work (although not all of them) and I suppose USB HDD's would work. There is a thread on compatibility somewhere. I have had a sony usb key for a while and that works just hoopily on GT4.
 
I've probably looked through at least 1500 Photo Mode pictures and yet I still haven't seen a Ford Focus RS anywhere. So if someone has that car and they're feeling generous, there's at least one person here who would love to see it.

I said i'd do it in the other thread.

If your going to put requests in, just put them in the one thread and realise that we might have other things to do in our lives apart from take requests for Photomode pictures.

But yes I will do tonight, which means about 7 hours.
