That is too complicated for me to understand, can you take this back, and re-draw it in crayon for me? Thanks.

As a reminder, here are the track settings for Sunday:

Nurburgring Combined* (Hazard)
*30 Min Quali
Laps - 5
Time - 17:00
Track date - September 8th, 1991
Clear / Light Cloud / Medium Cloud
2x Time progression
Did you know, the first race to ever be held at Nurburgring was actually a motorcycle/sidecar race? Toni Ulmen won the first race held at the massive track on June 18, 1927, where the first car race took place the following day. Naturally, a German born driver won in a German car in that first car race. Also, many know of the all time record driven by Stefan Bellof, but did you know that was the only year Le Mans Prototype cars raced on the current configuration of the Nordschleife? A bypass was built in 1983 during construction of the GP track, which shortened the Nordschleife, giving us the current configuration of the track. Here's some on board footage from Derek Bell in 83 giving you an idea of how it was at that time. For reference, he ran a 6:41 on this lap, so imagine what it would have taken to run 30 SECONDS faster!!

PPS: Please reference Alex's post above about the makeshift start line for this weekend's races. Running a formation lap will take far too long, so our formation 'sector' will comprise of most of the GP circuit, with the race starting immediately after Warsteiner-Kurve, the right hand corner leading on to the back straight before the right kink that leads to the chicane.

Can't we do a standing start, but instead just "back up", and then, take a run at the REAL start line? LOL
This is about the same spot we started in a different league race I ran in. Finished second in that race, hope I can do at least the same Sunday. No practice and haven't had time to figure out the squiggly lines in y'alls fancy smancy damper tool. CONFIRMED

Hey, maybe I have a chance at that second then! After some initial discussions, it sounds like the Audis have a slight advantage here as well. I really have to work hard to put in a time that I think could match the Audi, but it's risky, and I've met the barrier many times trying to do so, lol.

Really looking forward to this race though. I hope everyone brings their best patience when it comes to on battles on the Norschleife. It's a very hard track to pass on, so I think most of the overtakes will happen on the GP track.

Goodbye speed rating! A formation lap is a far better idea than this, haha.
Ha, ha. You thought I was serious. Just get it figured out and clean. It's going to be hard enough just to have a clean lap as it is.

No, I got the joke. Consistency here will pay off big time. Even a small incident can cost more than 20 seconds. Losing 5kph off your top speed is hard to notice if you're not on one of the big straights, but over the course of the entire lap, it can cost 8-10 seconds.

We did a practice and two lap race last night. Clock run down after practice was 10 minutes. If the same goes for qually then it is easily possible for some drivers to start their third hot lap before the 30 minutes are over. If you allow 25 minutes then everybody will be able to complete 2 hot laps (barring no accidents.....) and nobody will be able to start a third hot lap. Thoughts.....?

I'll test a qually session soon if no one has yet.

Just FYI, race will be 4 laps. Also, adjust your mics to the level you'd have it at for party chat. A fix has finally come for mic volume!

Can someone get me an avaerage lap time for this Sunday's Monza mixed race when you guys get a chance.

Thank you.

Big apologies to @CB_racer and @Xradkins
I seen CB hit the wall and thought he would have been slower. My impatience ruined yours and my race, so sorry again and i swear CB, i wont drive that stupid again.
