Second call for confirmations for this weekend's races! In case you have no idea where you're racing, here's the details:

Monza GP - Mix track (Onespace)
Laps - 15
Time - 8:00
Track date - June 5, 2070
Fog w Rain / Clear / Light rain / Clear
x15 Time progression​

Did you know that Monza was the third purpose built racing circuit in the world, behind Brooklands and Indianapolis. The high banking oval wasn't built until 1954, and only saw proper racing until 1969. The banking still exists, and is used once a year for the Monza Rally, and occasionally for filming purposes, but has decayed significantly, deeming it unsafe for any competitive events, yet appropriately portrays the significance of it's history. It's certainly earned it's nickname, The Temple of Speed.

Good Morning All,

First off, let me say, good racing by all. No major issues from what I saw yesterday. Secondly, congrats to @Rednose58 for his win in Race #2! He ran a flawless race that time, and made sure he stopped looking for that tree branch! :lol:

On a personal note, sorry for being a bit grumpy after I got myself a +50 second penalty from speeding in pit lane. I wasn't mad at any of you, just at myself for making such a careless mistake. Compounded by giving the championship lead back to @ONESPACE. Our friendly rivalry continues. :cheers:

Points after round 4, Onespace has moved back into the lead by 3 points. Congrats to Rednose for the pole and the win in race 2, awesome driving!!!!!!

I want to thank the academy..... LOL

That will be my points for the season. I'm taking a road trip to Tuscon, AZ starting this Friday and will be back home by April 7. Unsure if I will be racing on the 8th as my Mother-in-law is visiting. In this period I will mostly be "off the grid" and rely on crappy wifi connections from Super 8 motels along the way.....
 
Confirmed. Doubt I'll get any practice in til Sunday morning, so this will be interesting. Not expecting to be anywhere near the Audis here anyways. Wish I had just picked the BMW vs. Merc fight.
 
For now I will confirm. But life has been a :censored:show here with no end in sight.
