I ran the Benz there too. I believe I was 1 - 2 seconds off the Audi time.
How close is barely touching by the way?

I haven't. I won't be racing this weekend, so I'll be missing out.
 
Can some check out how the start of the race is here, don't think it's ordinary. and do we start the second race at the long straight?

First call for confirmations for this Sundays races @ old school Monza! Time to wind the clock back a bit further than 91!

Won't be around this weekend for races, sorry guys.

I'd vote to start on the current Monza GP Start/Finish, I think that's long enough to get a formation going. On top of that, that first chicane just past the Mix Start/Finish is going to be a death trap. Not that I don't have faith in everyone's decision making but even the slightest misstep will cause chaos.

Confirmed for this Sunday but I'll be out for the final race of the season for fantasy baseball drafting.

I'm gonna hop on tonight and open up a room if anyone's interested.

Shouldn't need a vote, and it would be a few minute pace lap if we started at the current Monza start finish, which is a fine place too.
I was referring to the very first long straight, which is after the very first burm which is after the bus stop.
But ya know, we might need 3 miles of straightaway to get lined up.

Second call for confirmations for this weekend's races! In case you have no idea where you're racing, here's the details:

Monza GP - Mix track (Onespace)​
Laps - 15
Time - 8:00
Track date - June 5, 2070
Fog w Rain / Clear / Light rain / Clear
x15 Time progression​

Did you know that Monza was the third purpose built racing circuit in the world, behind Brooklands and Indianapolis. The high banking oval wasn't built until 1954, and only saw proper racing until 1969. The banking still exists, and is used once a year for the Monza Rally, and occasionally for filming purposes, but has decayed significantly, deeming it unsafe for any competitive events, yet appropriately portrays the significance of it's history. It's certainly earned it's nickname, The Temple of Speed.
