Playseat evolution T3PA Pro mounting problem

I've just picked up a second hand playseat evolution. From what I can tell it's the old version with the fixed angle pedal plate. The problem is that my T3PA Pros don't fit, they might in F1 style but I have them inverted and I don't want to change them back. I think I'm going to have to ditch the pedal plate and make something.
Has anyone else had this problem and how did you solve it? What ever I make/adapt, needs to fix to the chassis of the playseat.
